New York Internship Call Out

At the moment, we are looking for a few interns who want to work with us during this next, exciting phase of our development. Although the positions would be unpaid at first, you can earn college credit and there will be opportunities to make money as our operation scales up. We are looking for motivated individuals who desire an opportunity to demonstrate their capabilities and stretch their limits, and who are willing to commit to working a regular schedule (though part-time and odd hours are fine). It's a also a great way to help out this unique project and meet fellow Evovlers working to transform our world.
The positions we are looking to fill include:
Editorial Associate:
Assisting on newsletter. Copyediting. Writing titles and taglines. Writing short articles. Interfacing with publishers and authors. Etc.
Web Marketer:
Search Engine Optimization. Promoting RS and Evolver content. Promoting events and tele-seminars. Promoting Evolver RS content on MySpace, Facebook, Tribe, etc.
Event Producer:
Planning, organizing, and executing events, ranging from small-scale salons, concerts, and talks to large-scale parties and conferences.
Social Network Liaison:
Assisting Jonathan Phillips, Evolver community director, on developing regional Evolver groups. Solving problems of community members. Help develop Evolver membership program.
Tech Developer:
A dream for us would be interns willing to donate time to work on the tech side. Proficiency in Drupal would be helpful. Creating Evolver widgets for Facebook etc would be one useful task.
Evolver Membership Coordinator Assistant:
We intend to develop an Evolver membership that includes premium content and discounts at stores and service providers that reflect our values. We are looking for an assistant to help develop this program and run it.
Evolver / Reality Sandwich video content associate:
We are looking for someone with the skills to help us produce and edit Evolver/Reality Sandwich video content, including news, promos,comedy sketches, and reality TV-type forays.
Art Designer:
We are looking for a forward thinking designer with a realized grasp of both grid skills and the Adobe Creative suite. This position would allow you to work on designs for print, web, video, and live events while at the same time participating in community building exercises.
