New/latest Posts Link

It'd be great if there was a tab on the site that beamed me into the latest activity. Sometimes articles tumble away down the page out of sight but still deserve comment and response...

For example, a post was made about the mysterious honeybee disappearances some months ago by St. Frequency. The subject returned prominently to the mainstream media again very recently. However any update comments to the RS article would unfortunately remain unknown to most, lost deep in the gubbins far from the radar....down page. A "new posts" link or some such thing would ensure that topics of enduring interest remained accessible to casual browsers and regular readers alike.

On most forums there is a "todays posts" or "latest posts" link. Such a thing would certainly aid navigation of RS, and encourage contribution too.

Just something that has bugged me a bit about the RS beta...otherwise, loving the site. What do others think?

New/Latest Posts Link

I agree that a "recent comments" section would be very helpful.

new/latest posts

I am one of the dummies in the group. I have trouble finding blogs/posts/comments that I have read and want to revisit. Is it just me or is there some confusion about what a 'blog' is, what a 'post' is and what a 'comment' is. I have been assuming that 'blog' defines something that one posts to, and about which comments are made at the foot of each post. That doesn't seem to be the case here or on Evolver.

Social Change and Mind Shift

Hi all RS is a great site for individuals interested in developing their intellect by consuming the vast array of information presented by all contributors involved on this site. Knowledge is one thing. Understanding that knowledge and adapting it to the way you percieve the world is another. Where people get lost in their spiritual development of their minds is they do not know how to filter the knowledge and information presented to them. They get so bogged down with the task of obtaining knowledge and thinking that the "truth" will appear from off the pages of certain manuscripts and texts that they miss the point of actually researching this type of information in the first place. The real message of this knowledge is to provoke thought in the individual. To awaken the reader's mind to see things from a different perspective to their own. From their they need to be able to understand the message that is being projected towards them and be able to logically decipher and interperate the truthful meaning of that message that makes perfect sense to the individual. For if you cant make any logical sense out of the knowledge you obtain or dismiss it off handedly before carefully scrutinizing the importance of its contents you will struggle to develop the key fundamentals of freeing your mind so that true insight and enlightenment can be achieved. The truth will not be served up to you on a platter. It does not matter if you are privledged or pauper. You have to earn the truth. Seek the truth, for the truth is not in black and white. It hides within the gray in obscure and also obvious places. Once people realise, they dont have to search the four corners of the globe to attain the truth. It lays dormant within all of us. You just have to learn how to harness it. Great site. I am glad that people are still seeking for our higher meaning and purpose. Just need to gently coerce a mind shift amongst the masses. When enough people realise their full potential this will further gain momentum towards and hopefully past critical mass. From there society and governments will have to take action. Without the control of the large majority, those in power will have to make a critical decision to keep the so called peace. A decision that could lead to a revolution in thinking and the way how things are done. Or it could lead to anarchy, martial law, centralised power and destruction. We can either progress or regress.
