Nano Spies

Scientists have re-engineered a component of the HIV virus and used it to cloak silver particles, which can then be introduced into cells, providing the ability to detect the earliest formation of problems such as cancer. The breakthrough is a milestone in biomedical nanotechnology.
Not only can the these new “nano spies” be used for preventive monitoring, but also could be used to deliver treatment in an unprecedented way--directly into the heart of cells.
