Mutating Morgellons

Chas Holman of Cherokeechas.com died suddenly of a massive heart attack this past September. Chas was best known for raising awareness of Morgellons disease.

Morgellons disease has not been fully realized by the medical community yet. It is a skin disease that produces lesions and fibers in the skin. Patients generally report symptoms like crawling, fiery skin, lesions, and brain fog. At this point it is not clear whether the disease is contagious or not, but families have often reported multiple members having the symptoms.

Though the cause of the disease is undetermined, some have conjectured that it could be linked to DNA mutations caused by the dietary ingestion of genetically modified foods.

How is the disease contracted? Is there a cure? Will the medical community respond seriously to it? These are just a few of the questions being asked about the disease that Chas helped raise our awareness of.
