Moon Music

Networked Music Review, a fantastic website for fans of experimental music, has a great article detailing the efforts of several artists who are using the surface of the moon to create intriguing musical compositions. Music is converted to morse code, beamed to the moon, and the reflections are re-captured and converted into new pieces. The degradation that occurs becomes part of the unique nature of the finished pieces.
