Message in a Bottle

Recently a woman found a message in a bottle, washing up near Pentwater Michigan -- a small harbor town tucked in against the banks of Lake Michigan.

Inside of the bottle were the wedding vows of a couple married on the beach, all the way across the great lake on the Wisconsin side -- in Racine.

It took the woman a few moments, but she soon realized that the date of the vows in the bottle were 28 years to the day that she and her husband exchanged vows on the same beaches of Lake Michigan.

She contacted the couple in Racine to share the strange synchronicity. In a recent interview, both couples expressed their sense of awe, calling the event a "sign."

Is there anything more beautiful than this? To send one's hopes and dreams into the waters of the unknown, carefully sealed, and they come back bearing messages from the beyond. The world once again reveals itself -- animate, pulsing, intelligent, full of mystery and love.
