The iMayan Calendar

With the new Maya 3D application available for your iPhone or iTouch you will be able to track time like the Mayans did. The application integrates the use of a three-dimensional “clock” created using gears movable by touching the screen. The feature allows you to trek back in time to view different events associated with past dates according to the phases of the moon, or trek forward in time to predict the day’s future outcome. Other features include viewing the Maya day glyph, Maya oracle predictions, date saver and “learn[ing] what to really expect by 2012.” The application was created by a Brazilian native. The 3D clock alone is a beautiful sight and impressive work of computer programming.

wow!

This is great news! I wonder if they plan on coming out with a PC version for all of us who lack the almighty IPhone... Regardless, that's cool as shit, hopefully it works in practice and use. The idea is certainly very potent... If this company can't pull it off right, I'm sure someone would pick up the slack! ~If evolution is outlawed, only outlaws will evolve!~
