A Luxury Art Car

Chanel artistic director Karl Lagerfeld is teaming up with architect Zaha Hadid to create The Mobile Art container. The UFO-shaped, mobile, collapsible exhibition pod will travel to major cities from 2008-2010.

While it borders on an elaborate marketing ploy, (the art inside is to be based on Chanel handbags) it's still fun knowing this large scale, luxury "art car" will be floating around. Perhaps by 2012 it will fly.
