Live Spooky Rescore

Thursday March 17, 2011, DJ Spooky is hosting the opening of the Korean American Film Festival and premiering a live rescore of the 1956 classic Madame Freedom by filmmaker Han Hyung-mo, the controversial film that is said to have kicked off Korea's Golden Age of Film.The rescore will be performed by cellist Okkyung Lee and award winning violinist Sean Lee.

Opening night aims to be diverse and progressive experience celebrating the wealth of cinematic talent from Korea. Opening Reception starts at 6pm with the live rescore beginning at 8:30PM. The duration of the festival will be held at Chelsea Clearview Cinemas.
