In this Current TV episode, sculptor and photographer Kate Raudenbush discusses her interpretation of the American dream as expressed in her Burning Man sculpture "Altered States." Kate has created art on the Playa for five years, and with each sculpture she reminds burners that "creativity is the currency." For Altered States, she drew inspiration from Native American imagery to explore the relationship between Native and colonial Americans. She created her own design without copying Native art directly, thereby letting the dreams coexist in one inspiring piece of art.
