Jellyfish Crop Circle

jellyfish1_1414867c.jpg

Perhaps the strangest of last year's crop circles was the first ten digits of the number pi (3.141592654). This year the winner so far seems to be the giant jellyfish design that suddenly appeared in a field in Oxfordshire, England. The crop circle that appeared this week is roughly three times the size of an average crop circle.

Dragons

Interesting. Especially considering the Dragonfly crop circle that recently appeared in the village of Yatesbury, Wiltshire.

jelly fish and alien life forms

What if the jellyfish and other crop circles represent actual life forms?  We assume aliens need machines, but if they are etheric life forms, they do not.  Look at my speculations about this at http://thejellyfishchronicles.blogspot.com/ (read from the bottom up).

Whilst there are obviously some scientific explanations, they are no more probable than my own.

interesting

tellin us to look to the laws of nature, i suppose...the way organic life operates is what we need to move towards...

a life lesson about transparency?

What strikes me is the fact that both Jellyfish and Dragonflies will change the colors of their wings/bodies to adapt to their environment, to camouflage, etc. The outwardness and the inwardness are very connected for these creatures, very transparent, perhaps pointing us towards a life lesson? that's pretty observant! now

that's pretty observant! now there is something hinted at which both jellyfish and dragonfly have in common. both are kind of on the fringe of the animal kingdom... they're like the indie stuff. if i had to guess, a lizard would be next. any other guesses?

7 Possible Meanings of the Jellyfish Crop Circle

What a beauty! And huge! 600 ft long. 3 times bigger than most. As if to say hey you guys, this one is really important. My decoding has, so far, revealed 7 possible meanings.  <br><br>1. We need to let go - even more so - of heirarchical thinking/behavior.Unlike humans, jellyfish don't have a brain and central nervous system feeding into it. They have a loose network of nerves which is called a nerve net. Of course we have been building all sorts of hue-man nerve nets.  <br><br>2. We should look to alternative sources of food to end world hunger.Jellyfish have a lot of protein, are plentiful, and the Japanese even consider them a delicacy. This seems like an unlikely interpretation, as over farming of jellyfish would be just another eco disaster. Spirulina and birth control would be better suggestions, but both of those would be very difficult to communicate clearly in a crop circle design! <br><br>3. Crop circles are created by a self conscious creator.Researching jellyfish, I found them described as easily recognized but often misunderstood. A description which also fits the crop circles themsleves. This jibes with my interpretation of the PI crop circle. <br><br>4. We must learn to flow.Groups of jellyfish are called blooms, and the image itself suggests flowing. Flow-ers bloom. We all must learn to be flow-ers in this time of escalating shift. <br><br>5. The water table is being energized. The crop circles are mostly on sites above the water table (hello Age of Aquarius!) and one theory about the circles in general is that the energetic vibrations of their designs is being imprinted into the water. Jellyfish float and swim through water. Of course any image of fish could have suggested that, but jellyfish i noticed were mentioned as being 90% water themselves. Isn’t every fish? Maybe not. Scientists, help me out here.  <br><br>6. It's an amulet of protection.NASA photoIn many countries jellyfish are called medusa. I assume because the tentacles are as snake-like as Medusa's hair. Medusa's head is used as an amulet of protection. There is some talk that dark and light galactic forces have been battling for control of earth/humans. Possibly this is the light force protecting us against the dark. Or oursleves.7. We should look at the Medusa's Hair galaxy more closely.NASA recently found a black hole at the center of this galaxy. or 'black whole', as we like to say. But more about that another time. Of course Medusa's hair was made of snakes. In current symbology snakes=DNA. In Beth Math, DNA=AND. Which is to say that all these interpretations might be correct. And others too. Everything is multi-dimensional now.Love, light and laughs,Beth http://bethlapides.com

thanks 4 the better understanding

having read this, i generally have a better impression / understanding of the jellyfish crop circle and how to go about thinking about it's other facets of meaning. thanks!

It is beautiful.

Foolish Human Mortals!

It's obviously a calling card from The Great Cthulhu! ALL HAIL OUR CNIDARIAN OVERMASTERS, AND DESPAIR! Ahhhh, yessssssss...The Old Ones begin to rouse from their watery slumbers...

Earth's magnetosphere looks like a "jellyfish" in a solar storm

Okay, now that the crop artists have captured your attention, look at this:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=A49VML0_lEY

During any major solar storm, Earth's magnetic field becomes deformed into a "jellyfish" shape. If they had shown you the mathematical equations, you would not have understood, or taken any interest!

Likewise, their "dragonfly" represents the detailed shape of our solar wind. Both pictures seem to predict a major solar storm one lunar month from now around July 7 (a full Moon and penumbral eclipse). If it comes true, then you will know for sure. And we can move on from there.

Synchronicity + Totem Animals

Synchronicity tends to accompany crop circles ... The only animals (other than companion animals) framed in my home are a jellyfish in a photograph that hangs directly over my computer, and a dragonfly that I saved from being eaten alive by ants so that it could die in peace ... For what it's worth, components of the Dragonfly formation closely resemble the Ant formation I visited near East Meon in 1997 ... I think it's also important to look at their meanings as totem animals (excerpts from http://www.sayahda.com/cycle.htm): Jellyfish "know how to survive [and] move in harmony with the currents of life and can teach us how to flow with the natural forces of Mother Earth.  Dragonfly "conveys the message that life is never what it appears to be."

Connections? Repeat of the past?

Looking at these crop circles in the form of animals makes me think of the Nazca Lines. Has anyone else looked those up? Many of those are bigger than your average crop circle, but just as detailed and well-constructed. Could there be a connection? Could it be the same, or similar, race of beings making the crop circles? I have yet to do more research on it, but I thought I'd plant that thought-seed since it was the first thing I thought of in connection with this. Interesting...

Crop circle conference '09 in Wiltshire

Thinking about going to the crop circle conference in Wiltshire at the beginning of August this year. Thought I'd reach out to this community to see if anyone has any experience with past conferences. It's a big trip and I want to know if it will be worth it. Any advice or leads would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Ross

jellyfish

Before Jeff Wells left the blogoshere he had some pretty interesting things to say about jellyfish that bordered on the Lovecraftian http://rigint.blogspot.com/2008/03/deep-ones-and-madness-of-crowds_27.ht...

Related?

I was just having a conversation last night about how it would make a difference in telling people about crop circles if it was just a little bit more clear that they related to the "real" world in a more obvious way, without having to resort to all kinds of theories to make a point.

I think this constitutes as a more obvious connection.

You tell me:

From ABC News, June 8:

Giant jellyfish are taking over parts of the world's oceans due to overfishing and other human activities, researchers say.

http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2009/06/08/2592196.htm

So we have:

1st: the first crop circle of a jellyfish,

2nd: a report of jellyfish overpopulation due to overfishing,

3rd: and then a new crop circle of fish

http://www.cropcircleconnector.com/2009/bishopcanning/DSC0011Bishops-Can...

All of these incidents within days of one another.

Thoughts?

I agree with Tatiana

Swarms of jellyfish are a sign of a grave ecological imbalance.  I would consider the crop circle as inspired by such.

All Kidding Aside Now...

Dogananda's link to Rigorous Intuition is very interesting, as part of it relates to several anecdotes of people having seen what they described as flying jellyfish UFOs. I myself have encountered this phenomenon, and it stands out as one of the highest of the many high strangness events of my life. On June 31, 2001, I was in my back garden lazily gazing at a deep blue sky (these were pre-chemtrail days around here). A jet at cruising altitude soared over, and as I watched it's path, it flew through what looked like a gigantic Omega symbol comprised of star-like objects. Bear in mind, this was mid afternoon. The star-like objects were about the color of Mars. Now, as the oddity of this began to sink in, I realized that there were actually HUNDREDS of these objects, all of them moving, closing in on each other, appearing and disappearing, and shifting into various configurations. Then I spotted a very large, grey tube. This thing started to writhe, contract, elongate, spin around, and twist, all incredibly fluidly. It was surrounded by the star-like objects. I ran across the street to a neighbor's house. There was a party of about nine people hanging out in the back yard. These objects were very nearly directly overhead. I pointed out what was going on. I will save for a later date the various reactions of the people present, suffice to say that they ranged from the dumbfounded and awed to the totally indifferent. We watched the tube and the star-like objects for about fifteen minutes, when one of those present looked at me, and a very strange look it was, and said, "J.B., look straight up!" I did, and directly overhead I saw IT: A gigantic, green and yellow JELLYFISH. No other description would be appropriate. It billowed and throbbed and bobbed and flowed as if it were actually in water. So, dig the scene: A gigantic tube in constant, fluid motion, a sky full of hundreds of moving star-like objects, a monstrous jellyfish-like object, also in constant fluid motion, and a back yard full of eyewitnesses. During this display, I had the eeriest impression several times that these things were ALIVE. We watched for 45 minutes, as the whole array very slowly drifted higher into the sky and away into the west. Everything I saw that day has subsequently been reported across the U.S., and the world. There are numerous videos on the internets now of what people are calling "sky worms" that are substantially similar to what I saw, and, as the link to Rigorous Intuition reveals, others have seen and reported the jellyfish. Various videos also exist depicting fleets of star-like objects operating in broad daylight. If I'm nuts, I've got lots of company.
