International Day of Climate Action

Staging the world's largest grassroots "open-source" campaign, 350.org calls on the world to organize actions incorporating the number 350 in order to emphasize its importance to our survival.

350 parts per million is the safe upper limit for CO2 in our atmosphere. This number is currently at 390 ppm, meaning that drastic action is necessary in order to avoid major climate change. World leaders will be meeting in Copenhagen this December to discuss a new climate treaty that currently is too weak to affect the amount of change the world needs.



350.org invites everyone to create an action using the number 350 that will help get the world's attention and influence the upcoming leaders meeting. Planned actions include everything from giant banners displaying the number to church bells ringing 350 times to 350 trees being planted 10 times over. The site lists suggestions for people of all walks of life and provides the tools to create an action of their own.

I know what you mean. In Science debate is never over. In fact a debate never happened on supposed global warming. However, over 30,000 scientists disagree with the 'concensus' www.petitionproject.org/ 

Big Environment will continue to promote their agenda and receive lots of contributions from such democratic, class consciouus, progressive bulwarks as the Rockefeller Foundation, Ford Foundation, W. Alton Jones Foundation, Turner Foundation, The Pew Charitable Trusts, the David and Lucille Packard Foundation, the Alfred W. Mellon Foundation, Bill and Melinda Gates, the Heinz family interests, the Carnegie Corporation etc. But the truth... Oligarchy IS the environmental movement, not grass roots outfits.

All the while Al Gore floats around on clouds of CO2 as a Major shareholder in Occidental Petroleum and serving an endangered fish species for his daughters birthday.

and the evidence of this trend is always dismissed in favor of a cherry-picked argument about anthropogenic global warming. The lack of debate, and true empirical rigor based on proper scientific method is done with the goal of creating a global carbon tax.
