If you want to live turn it off and shut up!

New paradigm is about to be replaced with older paradigm, older in the sense of an old writer, older in the sense of the Ancients. It's all nonsense, isn’t? My question: can anyone ever exactly say what one means? Perhaps the complexity of reality itself becomes iversely proportional to the level or dergee to which one attempts to define its meaning? If so it would seem we must forget everything, and then we'll begin... IO

Isn't that what zen buddhists do? Clear the mind of everything to begin meditation and ultimately achieve enlightenment? In another comment, I touched on the fact that our brains catagorize everything, probably a special synapse filing system for future reference - I'm not sure, not a neurologist. BUT, in this vein, I think that people do say exactly what they mean, it's just that our brains might not have filed the same word-meaning in the same catagory as someone else (i.e. when I think of an orange, I see the color, the bumpy texture, the navel brown around the edges etc, but someone else may only picture a orange ball without such detail) Especially with the English language, which I swear has 10 words to describe the same thing!
