Honoring Anthology

This Wednesday, April 27th, Anthology Film Archives is holding tribute to several filmmakers and scholars who've worked hard to preserve the legacy of film. The 2011 Film Preservation Honors & 40th Anniversary Benefit Concert will pay homage to filmmaker Albert Maysles, Harvard archives director Vlada Petric, and scholar Tony Pipolo, among others.

Musical performances include Harmony Korine, Marina Abramovic, and Transgendered Jesus. The concert will be held at City Winery, at 155 Varick St in Manhattan. Doors open at 7PM. Tickets are available here. Benefit Tickets are also available, served with light dinner and wine.
