Explore the "Four Global Truths" and unveil what we can do individually, and collectively, to guide us through this time of great transition. Join Darrin Drda for the live, online video course "Awakening the Global Heart-Mind" – 2 illuminating sessions with special guests: Richard Tarnas and Joanna Macy. This Evolver Intensives course starts on Saturday, April 28th.

At a time of converging crises, more and more people are realizing that a major planetary shift is underway. With so much at stake, it becomes crucial to understand the deeper dynamics, and possible implications, of our unique evolutionary moment.

  • What is the nature of this great transition?
  • What are its underlying causes?
  • What might be its ultimate effects?
  • And what can we do, both personally and collectively, to bring about a more sustainable, just, and fulfilling world?

These four questions serve as entry points into what author Darrin Drda calls "The Four Global Truths," which parallel the Four Noble Truths of Buddhism. In this course, Darrin will explore these questions with the help of two influential thinkers who together represent a variety of fields including deep ecology, cultural history, depth psychology, ecophilosophy, systems theory, and cosmology.  In this spirit, the course is designed to expand both the mind and heart; to create not just an intellectual orientation but an integral initiation into full global citizenship

Darrin Drda is author of The Four Global Truths: Awakening to the Peril and Promise of Our Times, published by EVOLVER EDITIONS/North Atlantic Books. He is a longtime practitioner and occasional instructor of both Insight (Vipassana) meditation and loving-kindness (metta) meditation, as well as a facilitator for the Awakening the Dreamer Symposium, which promotes ecological sustainability, social justice, and spiritual fulfillment.
