Hello Obama, Goodbye Liberty!

Obama’s legal team is working on a case to overthrow a 23 year old law that protects defendants from unjust questioning and manipulation by police. Currently police cannot ask a defendant questions if they have asked for an attorney to be present, but that could all change if the admistration gets its way.  According to civil rights activists, these liberties are important for juveniles, the mentally ill, and those who are generally uninformed about their basic legal protections.

I also feel like Obama can be a double agent --- pretending to play the dark game and when the time is right unleash the Light within!!  I think We the People have a big part to play in this --- we cant just trust in Obama  to do it for us

escee, If Obama's actually playing such a deep game, (and I've yet to see any signs myself) then he's a walking dead man. JFK is a fine example of this: he came to power by leveraging all the dirty tricks in his family's repertoire, with the full help and support of the shadow government, and then he turned on them. He tried to disband the CIA and the Federal Reserve, was trying to put an end to the Cold War, and for his trouble he was executed in front of the entire world. And the world did nothing.... If Obama follows this route (and he might), well, that's the only way he'll ever gain any true power. As it is he's a figurehead, an actor, an functionary for the true powers that run the US and the world. Should he lift his hand against them, they will kill him ... but in so doing he will become a martyr, and in death will gain power as a symbol of resistance that could well suffice to bring the whole edifice crashing to the ground. I hope Pyschegram, escee, and ACTruthSeeker all got a picture of the truth there... all the options seem plausible to me, including that he might fail us and never manage to break free from the shadow government. Let's hope I'm wrong, and whatever happens, that the people stand up for themselves.
