Heart Gardens offers a new mode of interactive permaculture education on the web. Though navigating the site is slightly confusing, the experience of learning is similar to that of learning in the natural world, where exploration, experimentation and non-linear thought guide intelligence. The site offers plant photos, exercises to incorporate permaculture practices into your own bioregion, slide shows and video presentations. Developers plan to offer the first online permaculture certification course soon.

As an adjunct to the Heart Gardens site, creators have collected much of the information in video format on the main educational site, Gaiacraft.
