Green Citizens

Have you ever wondered how much water and money you would save if you turned off the faucet while washing your hands? How about the energy saved if you knew what you were reaching in the fridge for instead of zoning out on all of your choices with the door wide open? Creative Citizen knows, and should you choose to adopt these and other sustainable solutions, you can watch your savings soar.
This site tracks the practical effects personal conservation has in terms of waste, water, energy, emissions and money instead of other sites like carbon counters that only quantify one piece of the green equation. Once I signed up for this free community I browsed the solutions that members have offered and chose those that are habits in our household. After adopting those solutions, I found that we save enough water to fill 70 bathtubs, enough energy to run 15 computers for one year and an annual total of $1,827!
Another great aspect of the site is the exchange of ideas and information relating to these solutions. Join and add your own eco-friendly solutions and you may also inspire others to live more sustainable lives.
