Giving Peace a Chance

Planet Coexist presents Sparks of Peace, a gathering of interfaith and intercultural cooperation and celebration in Tucson, AZ, November 7 to 11. Sparks of Peace will bring together Eliyahu McLean, director of the Jerusalem Peacemakers, and Ghassan Manasra, director of Anwar il-Salaam, a Muslim peace center in Nazareth, to help heal the Israeli-Palestinian divide. Thursday, 3:30-5:30pm - Muslim, Jewish & Christian High School Students join the Tucson High Planet Coexist Club to make organic ethnic food from each of their cultural traditions for the Saturday night evening Gala event @ Temple Emanuel
Thursday, 3:30-4:45pm - Peacemakers speak at UA (Room TBA)
Thurs. Evening – Fri. Morning - Planet Coexist Council Mini-Retreat (Private Event)
Friday, 12:30-2:00pm - Prayers & Peacemakers talk at Islamic Center of Tucson (Modest Dress Requested)
Friday Evening - Peacemakers talk at Community Shabbaton, Hosted at Bet Shalom
