Giving Peace a Chance

Saturday, May 3rd marked the beginning of Peace Has Begun, a country-wide bus tour to promote greater peace on our planet. The tour will culminate on September 19, 2009 with Project-Peace On Earth, a six-hour musical telecast live from "spiritual amplifiers," such as Stonehenge, the Great Pyramids of Giza, Chichen Itza, and Mount Fuji. Sponsored by the producers of Live Aid, proceeds from Project-Peace On Earth will be used toward the many humanitarian issues covered during the Peace Has Begun tour.

The project's founder, Steve Robertson, sees the six-hour worldwide prayer as a catalyst for higher self-actualization, that listening "physiologically through the ears, and intuitively through the psyche" will create individual frequencies of positive energy, shifting consciousness to a higher state of awareness.
