The Ghosts in our Machines

John Topp

As we know, our increasingly ubiquitous media and technology has some drawbacks. If we don't resist, we can become overwhelmed by trivial exchanges and mediocre infotainment. It sometimes seems as if our devices have a life of their own. Luckily, we still have the option to turn them off when we choose, ignoring their imploring beeps and round-the-clock news updates. We can take a break from our virtual worlds to exchange information through more tangible channels.

But what if our technology could be used for a different form of communion altogether? What if we could hijack our gadgets for a profound purpose never intended, not even imagined, by their inventors?

Since the early days of the phonograph, telephone and camera, there have been reports of unexplained phenomena associated with our communications devices. German physics professor Ernst Senkowski coined the term "instrumental transcommunication" (ITC), to refer to the use of modern technical devices such as audio recorders, radios, and televisions to communicate with realms outside of our known physical realm. Unknown to most, a huge body of experimentation and scientific study has taken place in this area.

ITC is best known in its most basic form, electronic voice phenomenon (EVP) - when voices of unknown origin, generally uttering short, faint phrases, speak on audio recordings. EVP appeared occasionally on early phonograph recordings but became more widely known after showing up on personal tape recorders in the 50s and 60s. In the 60s and 70s, it became popular in Europe to capture EVP voices on home tape recorders. Samples can be found all over the web, and EVP is often employed for a plot twist on ghost-hunting TV shows.

The levels which ITC has reached, far beyond EVP, are, surprisingly, little known. There is a large body of clear, well documented, scientifically observed audio, video and text transmissions from beyond that have been received through telephones, radios, televisions, computers, fax machines, and a custom-built device called the Spiricom. I will briefly touch on a few key developments in the field, from documentation at worlditc.org, and offer some of my own results.

Marcello Bacci of Grosseto, Italy began receiving spirit voices through his vacuum tube radio in the 1950s. To this day, he holds sessions at his home where visitors are often addressed by their departed loved ones, through this same radio. In addition to spoken voice, he has also recorded choirs singing.

In the late 70s, Americans George Meek and William O'Neil developed a device called Spiricom which established the first known instrumental two-way conversations with the beyond. It was a combination of radio technology with a tone generator that, after much iteration over years, allowed O'Neil to speak with his contact on the other side, Dr. George Mueller, a deceased NASA scientist. Mueller's came through as a robotic sounding voice-modulated tone, similar in sound to the vocoder used in pop music where a human voice is combined with a keyboard or guitar sound. Hours of conversation were recorded and a few files are available at worlditc.org.

German Klaus Schreiber pioneered video ITC. In the mid-80s, he experimented with a technique whereby he would point a video camera at a TV set and feed the output back into the set, creating a feedback loop. The resulting visual randomness would sometimes form into indisputably human faces. At times it formed recognizable ones like Albert Einstein. In 1994, Adolf Homes received the first color picture transmission, directly to his TV set. It was an image of EVP pioneer Friedrich Juergenson and was received at the same time as a printout on Homes' computer, which read:

"This is Friedel from Sweden. I am sending you a self-portrait... The projection since January 17, 1991, has been in the quantum of spacelessness and timelessness. All your and our thoughts have their own electromagnetic reality which does not get lost outside the space-time structure... Consciousness creates all form..."

Maggy Harsch-Fischbach and husband Jules Harsh in Luxembourg received the most mind-boggling ITC transmissions known. They started with EVP, as is often the case, and moved on to achieve radio contacts. In 1986 they began to be addressed by a high-pitched synthetic sounding voice. When asked for a name, it offered "Technician", and it revealed itself to be the facilitating energy behind their transmissions. When asked "who are you?” the response was:

"We are what we are. It is difficult to explain to you, but I am not an energy being, not a light being, I was never human, never an animal and was never incarnated.... neither am I God! Humans make the mistake of imagining god as a single person. You know the picture of two children walking across a bridge. Behind them is a being that protects them. This is what I am to you, but without wings. If you insist on giving me a name, call me technician. You already confused me with a human technician at the beginning of our esb [Eurosignal Bridge] contacts. Yes, I am a technician but in a different manner than you imagine."

Ernst Senkowski, a physics professor and former military radio specialist, worked closely with the group and analyzed the experiments from a scientific perspective. In 1987 he wrote: "The possibility of faking or manipulating the voices or television pictures for the involved lay people is practically zero...[The material] is convincing and forms new steps whose significance for most people is inconceivable and points far into the future!"

The Luxembourg contacts continued into the 90's and included hundreds of phone calls, television images, computer files, and faxes conveying messages and images from the afterlife. INIT, International Network of Instrumental Transcommunication, was formed by experimenters in Europe and the United States. Conferences were held and simultaneous contacts in different locations took place. This positive alliance was thought to strengthen the "contact field" as it came to be known. Sadly, it was difficult to maintain harmony in a group spread across the globe, trying to find their way in this strange new field. Infighting ensued and relationships were damaged. The amazing contacts received by the members of INIT ceased in the late 90s. Results of that level have not been heard of since.

While there are currently no reports of faxes from beyond, there is a great deal of interest in ITC, and the Internet is an ideal medium for publishing results. Marcello Bacci continues to receive radio contacts. Mark Macy, a founder of INIT and unofficial American ambassador of ITC, is doing interesting work using photography and a device called the Luminator.

One of my favorite ITC messages was sent to the INIT group by nineteenth-century chemist Henri Ste. Claire and speaks of the purpose of ITC: "It is our job as well as your job to set fire to minds – to set fire to minds in your world, and in that moment to try to master time."

I personally have been experimenting in ITC for over two years. I was already very interested in the concept of extradimensional communication when I met a young psychic named Brough Perkins. Brough and I attempted EVP and achieved results right away. After a month or two I began using shortwave radio and got results there as well. I have continued with both EVP and shortwave since, and I would say my most interesting communications have been in the last few months through radio, as well as a couple of pictures I caught using video feedback.

The first phase of my work was to focus on the audio or video quality of the transmissions. I feel that I'm now in a second phase, where the quality has reached a sufficient level and the content of the transmissions can be made out and has meaning. Two recent messages received through radio are of this level: "Work on the forefront, not on the hysteria," and "The government tries to cover up America."

This article is intended as a brief introduction to ITC to generate interest. I would not want anyone to accept extraordinary claims at face value. Much has been written on the validity and content of these kinds of contacts, and I encourage anyone interested to look further and discuss, or even try it themselves.

Whoa

I am continually amazed at how much stuff I haven't heard of. I've read so much about EVP and similar goings-on, but have never heard of the depth of experiences with ITC described in your article. I'll be exploring those links intensely. Thanks for bringing this to me!

Yeah it's interesting how

Yeah it's interesting how the advanced ITC stuff is relatively unknown. Happy to be able to bring some exposure of this stuff to a progressively-minded group. Another link you'll want – PDF versions of Contact! newsletters from the 90’s with pics and texts from the INIT contacts.

but...

...the "spirit pictures" in the pdf's are just poor photoshop jobs. They even include the originals in later issues. I've seen remarkable ITC work, but inverting and cropping someone's photograph and pasting it against a sunset does not contact make.

This is a video that's been on YouTube for a while, but never fails to impress. It documents a paranormal phenomenon that occurred during the filming of this car commercial in Europe. Be sure to turn up your speakers for the ITC effect.

This is great. Thankyou.

Today I was wondering - "What has become of the ghosts?"

I'm not sure how well known or obvious this is in EVP/ITC circles - but a few years back a friend turned me on to The Scole Experiment in which groups of researchers communicated with the beyond, the afterlife, spirits, people and so forth using such things as undeveloped film. Placing the undeveloped film in sealed containers, they would contact the otherside and the otherside would reply. Usually in the form of messages, images or writing appearing on the film.

Thanks so much and . . . .

Thanks so much for sharing all of this John. I have an incident in question for you concerning an event I encountered with a friend of mine many years ago which might be related. Wondered what input you might have on this one.

My friend and I were chatting one evening in our shared apartment––sometime around 1975 or so. We were discussing something to the effect of who's who in regard to who's running things around the globe. Just as our conversation got to an interesting point, a very loud deep guttural voice shot across the speakers of my stereo (which had previously shut off the turntable, while leaving the amp still on) yelling, "Shut up!" Not a word before or after. It was very eerie and disturbing to say the least. The event and its synchronisity were astounding.
Picture of John Topp

Wow. That must have been

Wow. That must have been really weird. I think it was some sort of negative entity invested in global control trying to intimidate you and scare you away from discussing those topics. Lighter and darker beings are all around us. I believe that my work has been facilitated by lighter ones and interfered with by these darker ones. While it sounds paranoid and irrational, I do believe that they have attempted to destroy my equipment more than once, in particular immediately after I received the message “The government tries to cover up America”. I'd like to write about that sometime. I believe that there are entities that do not want us to communicate with other dimensions, as there are entities that do want us to.

Electromagnetic Dust Devils

Have to say, I've never met one I felt I could trust with the map.

Is ITC the modern day equivalent of the Ouija board?

Picture of John Topp

I’d first want to know

I’d first want to know what you’ve read/seen/heard. There’s plenty of quality evidence – check the Victor Zammit link at the end of the article. I personally am more than convinced and don’t focus on whether or not it’s real, but on how to continue to open up the communication channel. I think that “proof” is simply evidence that is considered sufficiently convincing, and that people will not consider any evidence sufficiently convincing if they do not want to consider the reality of the subject. I'm happy to discuss, if you have looked at the evidence that's out there.

Picture of Thomas Vaughan

Ambiguities

Hi John, I'm not really interested in the conventional questions about the reality or otherwise of these phenomena. Something is clearly happening that is worth exploring.

I must admit though that these anomalous zones, where technology seems to be dreaming, give me a sense of foreboding. To my mind our modern technologies are deeply ambiguous; unconscious projections perhaps, of latent human abilities, desires and fears. If the world is a magical dream, then maybe technology is the trick we play to convince ourselves otherwise. It is out there on the edge of the dream, to speak metaphorically, and breathing the fumes of the abyss. In other words, susceptible to unwholesome influences, the 'dust devils' I mentioned in my previous post. So when entities claiming to be 'the technican' turn up, my response is not enthusiastic.

That said, I've just now begun reading the Zimmerman report, so maybe I will have to reappraise some of these feelings.

Best wishes, Thom.

Reverse Speech...

...would seem to be a similar phenomenon, where technology is used to uncover messages which the conscious mind was perhaps unaware of. With "reverse speech" the unconscious modulates our vocal patterns to smuggle other meanings out to the listener. This raises the interesting possibility that we may be having two conversations at the same time, consciously and unconsciously, communicating emotional truths about ourselves whether we want to or not.

Obviously this is not good for mendacious politicians - some of the more interesting examples on the following website come from US President Bush...

I’ve looked into reverse

I’ve looked into reverse speech a bit. Some see it as a truth serum as you say, and even use it on EVP/ITC messages to see if the sender is attempting to deceive, which does happen. I have heard some convincing reversals and some really lame ones. My main concern is that it would be easy to hear a lot of different things when reversing a long passage of speech, and what you hear could be guided by your unconscious or by your particular agenda. I’m not yet convinced that it’s a reliable tool for getting information.

Picture of John H. Farr

Two Things

One, I was on my way to answer your opening question ("Can we use our technology to talk to spirits and send messages back in time?") thusly: NO! without even reading your article. Man, I'm glad I didn't.
However (two), if consciousness creates all form, as "Friedel" communicated -- which seems right to me -- then consciousness is creating ITC. It's ALL a big quantum stew, isn't it? So we just can't get around being a part of what we observe. What I do think your amazing piece suggests, however, is that reality is indeed a sandwich, or perhaps a wish. I've had quite inexplicable experiences all by myself, so I wonder why one needs a radio (unless that's what you believe). Fascinating, of course, and it would blow my mind to experience something like that. I would like to learn how these experiments were conducted. No doubt there's more info at the links...

Spooky

Wow! This was FUN!!!

Sure, the entire article was fantastic, but what was REALLY cool was when I got to the “Technician”. Pins-and-needles moved up my spine and settled onto the back of my neck and head. I said to myself “Okay, noted. Now lets just read on like nothing occured and observe what happens.” The ‘energy’ pulsed evenly in two or three second intervals until I reached the bottom of the quote. The effect disappeared entirely as I continued to the end of the article.

“Interesting” I thought. “Now let’s see what happens if I scroll up and read it again.” I re-read the quote and the text below until the effect dissipated.

Then I read the comments below, and visited the reverse speech web site, as a distraction, and casually came back to the Technician.

Although the effect dissipated sooner each time I read it, the waves of energy consistently began with “When asked for a name”, and dissipated with “I was never human”. The strongest wave of energy occurred while reading “"who are you?” the response was: "We are what we are”". I have now repeatedly gone back eight or more times with consistent effect. My body is telling me that there’s something there… But what???

Audio Files

I listened to the audio clips linked to above. Are you people having a laugh?

Is this whole thing a kind of ironic joke?

The air has been packed full of radio broadcasts for the best part of the last 100 years. What you are hearing are snippets of radio signals. But I don't have to tell you that's what they are. You know that, right? Right??

Dna.

Picture of John Topp

Hi dna Hmmm…I hadn’t

Hi dna

Hmmm…I hadn’t thought of that. Just kidding. Of course you’re right to suggest that it could be stray radio signals, and once I’m at home tonight I’ll write up some reasons why I don’t believe that to be the case.

The files linked to in the article are samples of my own ITC work, which hasn’t been evaluated empirically by a third party, and aren’t intended to stand as evidence of ITC as a whole. As I say in the article, I don’t expect anyone to take the information I’m presenting at face value. If you do want to look at what has been analyzed scientifically and objectively, I recommend following the link given to Victor Zammit, retired solicitor of the Supreme Court of the New South Wales and the High Court of Australia, who does a great job of presenting evidence for the reality of ITC. I also suggest you look into the work of the late Ernst Senkowski on worlditc.org, physics professor and former military radio expert.

Picture of John Topp

EVP clips

Continuing from my earlier reply as promised -

Since you are suggesting that these clips are stray radio broadcasts, let's look the EVP clips since they are recorded on a digital recorder that contains no receiver. Let's consider the odds of

- stray broadcasts appearing repeatedly and clearly on a device with no receiver (some claim that it's possible for a recorder to receive signals but i have never heard an explanation of how, nor have i heard an example),

- appearing repeatedly in complete, isolated sentences and not sentence fragments,

- addressing me clearly by name - "let's talk john"

- suggesting that they are non-corporeal - "in spirit"

- making reference to others in the room - "yes we have a new baby" while only myself and the baby were in the room

Regarding the dog picture - do you see the image of a dog? Do you feel that it's a bit too clear to be a randomly occuring Rorshach-type image? If so, how did the image appear when the TV was not receiving any signal. The input came from a webcam that was pointed at the TV screen, creating a feedback loop. Certainly there are much better examples than this one in the material I pointed you to.

Before I go on more, I'd like to ask you - is it the idea of ITC in general that you take exception to, or just the files in this article? If it's ITC in general, then we should direct the discussion towards the evidence presented by Zammit, Senkowski and others, as well as the arguments presented by the skeptics/debunkers.

Best,

John

Faraday cages, extraordinary proof

There are ghosts, and spirits, and images of our beloved dead. But they're not OUT THERE. They're IN HERE.

Humans are intensely social creatures. The most important thing to a human is other human beings. We are exquisitely tuned to human voices, and human faces. I have no doubt that John Topp sincerely believes that he is receiving extradimensional communications. But shortwave radio is a continuous overloaded hash of information and communication. At least enclose the equipment in a grounded faraday cage. I guarantee that you'll be disappointed with the results.

Even after you screen out short wave broadcasts that actually contain human voices, you will still be able to discern voices in random noise, and see faces in random shapes. Humans are WIRED for it. I have a relatively large collection of images of faces that I have seen from the vantage point of a weather satellite in the water vapor content of the eastern pacific ocean.

The evidence and proof required to establish the existence of unknown extradimensional beings that were trying to communicate with us is probably unobtainable. The claim is so extraordinary that the proof would have to be equally extraordinary, and RF leakage into electonic circuits or human perception at the noise floor of said circuits is just not extraordinary enough.

I'm not going to try to convince John that I'm right. His evidence is not strong enough to convince me that he's right. And we both have better things to do than argue about it.

Picture of John Topp

EVPs in Faraday Cages

Many voices have been recorded on tape in controlled experiments using Faraday cages by researchers such as Konstantine Raudive. The voices have been verified by third party observers to not be random artifacts within noise. That has been covered. The evidence has been obtained over and over again.

Here's one place to start:

Outbound from the Background

Another thing that comes to mind here is CMB or Cosmic Microwave Background

"...refered to it as "cosmic" because the only known source of this radiation is the early universe. It can now be firmly concluded that the CMB is the cooled remnant of the hot Big Bang itself.

Can I see the CMB for myself?

In fact you can! If you tune your TV set between channels, a few percent of the "snow" that you see on your screen is noise caused by the background of microwaves."

CMB FAQ

CMB WIKI

Of course now we're rarely able turn a TV set or any digital equipment "between channels". EVP/ITC et al seems to be a way to get between channels. A way to hear/experience the cosmic noise leading to a great cosmic party. Where the Technician is pouring drinks.

Voices in the Wind?

Then there's another potentially related phenomenon of hearing voices within forms of white noise such as fans. I know many people, including myself, that hear voices, sometimes music, nestled in but distinguished from the overall background noise made by the device. I've heard others share their experiences with me, as well as having had it occur at the same time when there is another person in the same room with me and corraborating what I'm hearing. It's always just barely below the volume level or clarity that I can make out exactly what they're saying--but consistently does sound like people talking. It usually sounds like someone's speaking or broadcasting from another room and we just can't quite make out what they're saying. But this phenomenon happens often––and it's evident enough to be distracting when all esle is quiet and one's trying to drop off to sleep.

Picture of John Topp

Fans

Very interesting to hear you say that. I've had voices from anything in my house using a fan - the bathroom ceiling fan, the microwave, the furnace. I've got some clearly audible voices using noise reduction. I'll post them when I get a sec. I've also heard it at other people's houses. If you want, try recording something and I'll have a listen.

The day Allen Ginsberg died my friend Scott and I were doing a noise guitar jam. For some strange reason, on that day alone my amp was picking up a radio station. Well really, any ITC work to date could be reproduced using Photoshop or audio software. I agree those photos themselves aren't convincing, but after reading up on that group and hearing the audio, reading the text transmissions, looking at their motives and the scrutiny from third parties, and so on, I feel that it's real. I think it's important to stay open as to how an unfamiliar entity might communicate. The SETI guy comes to mind, dismissing crop formations using the logic of "Surely aliens wouldn't communicate in such a crude way, they could just leave Enyclopedia Galactica on our doorsteps." I personally don't claim to know how anyone from another planet or dimension might want to talk to us.

In the air

Jeremy Narby befriended and recorded conversations with Carlos Perez Shuma, a 45 year old Ashaninca man and experienced Tabaquero-Ayahuasquero.

From The Cosmic Serpent by Jeremy Narby.

"...And these souls, what are they like?"

" I know that any living soul, or any dead one, is like those radio waves flying around in the air."

"Where?"

"In the air, that means they are there, but you cannot see them, but they are there, like radio waves. It's like that with souls; with ayahuasca and tobacco you can see and hear them."

-

In other words, with the proper technology, one can see into world's beyond. Jeremy Narby made his numerous and wondrous discoveries and connections for the most part by suspending disbelief. Any doubters here might try and do the same.

camera

Yes and someone also tells Narby to actually take a picture of the serpents he sees in his ayahuasca visions, saying something to the effect that "their lights can show up on your film". It seems like he literally was suggesting that he takes a picture with his camera. Someone needs to try this.

hmmm

Definitely interesting and leading me to even deeper questions about how my thoughts affect the oneness and how can I have only helpful thoughts and feelings... Also thinking about making a trip to Fairplay, Colorado to write some kind of book based on its history and the Fairplay Hotel ghosts...this information can help me. I've always been fascinated but scared of ghosts and recently felt this calling to write about the Fairplay ghosts in a historical context, but also feeling a bit of a 6th sense vibe, that perhaps I can be of some service to them, especially Julia who apparently feels unworthy to move on. But another part thinks dont even get involved in that creepiness!

hearing voices

i "hear voices" with increacing regularity. it's pretty interesting. i have not found it in any way disruptive, thus far, but it is yet another example of an important matter of personal experience that i am unable to communicate effectively about to the people around me, in this case, becuase "hearing voices" is a trigger phrase indicating severe mental illness. (blah, blah, blah). in general, my personal experience is very much divorced from the way people see me, which i feel i am pretty in touch with. i feel pretty confident to say that people generally find me cool, relaxed, intellegent, and charismatic. actually, it is a considerable effort to convince strangers that "something major is wrong with me," (most notably my FUckED UP spine that finds me in perpentual sleepless agony). if i make the effort, i ususually get some combination of alarm, disbelief, and lack of understanding, and so i usually don't.

anyway, i want to share the two most interesting "transmissions" i have picked up on radio "me." waking up from a nap in a farmhouse in washington state but before i get up, i hear abruptly, in a sort of high pitched "alien" voice, some highly unexpected comment about (if i remember right) "the filing system." the overiding sence i got from it was something one might overhear easedropping on an office meeting. the exact content of that message was dramatically overshadowed by and immediatly forgotten upon the next thing i heard, also in an extremely high pitched voice, "should one of us take over his world?" immediatly, my rational mind pounces: "what? what the fuck? what just happened? what's going on?" this is what i consider "my" voice, my usual inner voice that normally maintains a pretty consistant inner monologue in my head. the other voice was very likely still there, but now totally drowned out by my inner monologue (now in totaly alert mode). i might well be picking up other voices all the time if it wern't for my own incecent voice (which in an egoless sort of way i don't identify with either).

that was about a year ago. a few weeks ago i was camping alone in a national forest. it is night, i am just lying down, and once again i am semi-conscoius bordering on full consciousness. there is a lull in my inner monologue, "er, uh, we could pretty much pick you up at any time," in a voice DEFINATLY not my own (my usual voice that is; i will not hazard an opinion about what voices belong to who. this phenomenon is not the first thing to make me question). this time i tried to shout a message back, "if you happened to have a pretty masage therapist with you, yes! please pick me up immediatly!" but i don't think it could have been heard. "my" voice is one frequency, and the other voices are on different freqencies (which i think i may well be communicating on unconsiously, perhaps at all times). only when my mind is able to wander do i "accidently" tune in to other voices.

less extreme examples are starting to happen to me pretty often, but most slip out of memory like dreams. these two examples were the most memorable and the most conducive to interpretation as "transmissions on an alternate frequency." noteably, they were both self-referential ("we," "us"). anyway, i figure if it can happen to me, it can happen on a radio.

one final note. fuck you Hoopes! that utube car commercial tape put a Bad Spirit into me, and i do not at this time have adaquate cannabis to purge it. thanks a bunch.

ps. help me.

Hi Technoshaman88 It’s

Hi Technoshaman88

It’s neat cause I haven’t checked the comments on this article in weeks and I just checked it now a few hours after you posted this.

I think that what you’re hearing is probably real, ie coming from someone other than you. I have also experienced receiving phrases and bits of music while waking up, much as I get with ITC. This state between wake and sleep is known as the hypnagogic state and many folks have received great things through it. I remember Paul McCartney saying he woke up with “Hey Jude” in his head.

First one was after a nap in a log cabin in the woods and a female voice said clearly “The third wave is flame”.

Another memorable one happened after I got in touch with Daniel Pinchbeck about writing this article. I woke up with a woman saying that Daniel and I had something to the effect of “the androgenous vibration (not gay)”. The “not gay” was actually added in at the end as if in parentheses. Any comments on that one Daniel?

I wonder what kind of people are trying to talk to you. It sounds like they are trying to convince you that they could control you in some way, if they wanted to. Which is a lie and an attempt to indimidate. Just laugh at them and focus on tuning in to more helpful people.

Best,

the voices have given me no cuase for alarm thus far whatsoever. i would even go as far (if i had the capacity) to encourage them to continue trying to get through so long as they take care not to be disruptive. something further i would share about these two experiences:
i experience quite a bit of, shall we say, "second sight" as well as hearing voices, but rarely at the same time. i could not in any way "see" the source of the voices, but the impressions they gave me caused me to create certian mental pictures, in the same way that if you heard monotonous rambling about terrorism from an unknown source, you might picture a politician. as i said, the first experience conveyed the impression of an "alien" office meeting i had momentarily tuned into. it was as though the high pitched voice i heard was that of the idiot intern alien who was stupid enough to leave the microphone on that allowed me to overhear this secret meeting in the first place. i could almost picture older wiser beings standing around in the background in deliberately silent consternation, trying with violent hand-gestures to point out to "the intern" his aggregoius error that it might be immediately rectified before i hear more. i do not count out the posibility that said aliens have the capability to take over my world, but i am not intimidated or scared. i accept that my life is forfiet to the higher powers. life isn't going so well for me right now anyway, and in fact i am praying for intervention (but of course not by just anyone/thing). perhaps these were answers to my telepathic distress signals.
the voice in the woods was also rather high pitched, but more human. i found myself picturing a nerdy pizza delivery boy driving some miles away talking to me on a portable telepathic intercom. don't ask me where such a person would get such a thing. both voices were filled with uncertianty. the later almost seemed to be looking for my input: "we're not SUPER far away. we COULD pick you up... do you think we should? should we? we're just paranoid androids like you with a different set of paranormal skills and equipment. apparently we can contact each other. neat, but now what? we could pick you up and you could ride around in our pizza delivery truck or UFO and get involved in our trip, but i can't garuntee it would be beneficial to either of us." i got the impression that they probably didn't have a human female healer with them. it is possible they didn't pick me up becuase they knew they couldn't help me.
i hope very deeply to improve my telepathic skills, but needs of survival proclude the necissary concentration at this time. if only i could sustain a signal long enough to recieve directions to the sanctuary...

I see

I guess it was the "ps. help me" that gave me the impression that you were unhappy about the situation. If you feel it's positive, then this is very interesting and I hope you are able to develop the signal.

discarnate entities

one night
i was zoning out and a fan was behind me
and i eventually got to the point where
i could hear my unconscious in it,
and voices started talking,
like everyone i know a cacophony of them
and so i cued in on them,
and then i started using my emotion
anger, against them
and it was like a teeth clenched
snarling will power
and as it grew, the voices were screaming
bloody murder
almost as if they we're pleasing my to stay
like them screaming NO!
(in my head) and all kinda of violence
and it intensified and I used my anger
and love of certain people, against them
it kept growing, it seemed like i was torturing them
and then it shifted and they said something like
a taunting,
yea maybe we are the anti-christ,
and then i leaned back in chair,
still tranced and my whole consciousness was situated
in my third eye, and i felt i could almost climb
out through it, and i felt the disconnection
like my arms moving beyond my body,
astral almost. but i didn't try to take it any further
and later on,
this girl that i used against those voice
told me that she had felt my heart beating
and it was saying i love you i love you,
and that's what I was using against the voices.
i guess eventually i'll resolve the voices
into control and utilize each, as beings to contact? but another time,
i sat down in my creek, and just lay down listening
to the lapping water, and it started again
and the struggle ensued, but this time
i ended up using the water as my voice
and slowly, i fused my voice with it.
don't remember what i said, i think just some sounds
rhythms, hums,
and maybe other stuff, against the unruly voices.
I have many different aspects to my subconscious,
demons and other -- personalities, i guess you could say..
but my ego keeps from contact, sometimes. Also, in a dream I met my protective, dragon. the memories of that are kind of hazy, th0. but also was stabbed, 6 times, in my right side, after the protective "spirit" disappeard. definitely interested in these entities we contact.
