Talkin' Visionary Art

Last month we launched Evolver Intensives, a new series of teleseminars, featuring live calls with some of today’s most important thinkers and inspiring visionaries. This is an innovative commercial format for us – one that will bring in some of the revenue we need if we are going to survive as a company, while imparting valuable information and inspiration to our community. The interview between the Evolver host and guest is followed by interactions with the listening audience. We believe that this real-time, in-depth, and spontaneous format is a great way to connect the Reality Sandwich / Evolver community with inspiring, informative thought leaders working at the forefront of meaningful change.
The first series, hosted by me, "Beyond 2012: Practical Tools for Your Transformation,” consisted of live, frank conversations about the future of our world and how to prepare for rapid changes that might be cataclysmic with Neil Strauss, bestselling author of Emergency; Life Inc author Douglas Rushkoff; super-foods expert David Wolfe, communications strategist John Marshall Roberts; Burners without Borders director Carmen Mauk; spiritual guide Satyen Raja; and popular author Ariane de Bonvoisin. The response to the series from listeners was extremely positive, and I was actually surprised at how much important information and guidance was conveyed. This series will soon be available for purchase in its entirety.
Next week we are excited to launch our second Evolver Intensive: "Forging Community Through Visionary Art: How You Can Awaken Your Spirit and Your Connection To Others." It will be hosted by Erik Davis, RS contributor and author of The Visionary State: A Journey through California's Spiritual Landscape, and TechGnosis: Myth, Magic, and Mysticism in the Age of Information. Erik is one of my favorite writers and has great facility as a speaker. Featured guests include visionary painter Alex Grey, ritualist and filmmaker Antero Alli, neo-tribal festival producer Jen Zariat, and the legendary Larry Harvey, director of the annual Burning Man festival.
As we approach the final stretch leading up to Burning Man and the beginning of the Fall art season, this series is designed to address the following questions: "How does visionary art help us create community? How can you express your creative truth and engage with visionary art to help the world evolve?”
The Evolver Intensives are designed to present practical steps you can take today on the personal, local and planetary levels. We hope that our “Forging Community through Visionary Art” series will inspire and challenge you to manifest your creative potential. As we all know, art and performance do not only inspire and delight -- they transform your life. Similarly, we hope that this teleseminar series will provide you with the spark you need to bring your vision into reality.

Another Question
I may think that another important question is: Why people's creativity is needed for the times to come? I really think that everyone of us have something to bring to the table. It is important that all just say, write, draw, paint, create, manifest, build, etc. the way we want the world to be in the next decade.
Times they are changing and certainly the actors of these "new" world are us. And the most important is that if the chance of getting arts and culture is more easy to the population then its opportunity to hold themselfs the key to create changes is obviously a lot more accesible.
Do not forget that everyone of us are potentially artists, and arts are the answer to everything, past and future.
question?
please tell me who this is a piture of - on the main page I clicked on Daniel Pinchbeck on right column of contributers and scrolled down about 1/4 page under 'Talkin' Visionary Art' - there is a man with light red hair and glasses (before you click on 'more' which takes you to the article which has a picture of another man)
article begins with "Tonight, culture crtic Erik Davis and Burning Man founder Larry Harvey will kick off our Evolver Teleseminar, "Forging Community Through Visionary Art".
