Experiencing Unity Consciousness

On September 11th, the nine-year anniversary of 9/11, Long Beach's Portal Festival intends to usher in a shift from duality to "unity consciousness." Based in the teachings of the Maya, and scholars like Carl Calleman, the event  will integrate ceremonial and interactive elements to bring the community closer together.

Evolver Long Beach and Evolver Los Angeles will contribute to the festival with a program focusing on "spiritual activism," our monthly Evolver theme. The Evolver program will explore the historical event's catalytic effect on consciousness and the journey into spiritually-guided activism. Baza Novic will speak about his experiences, SunDream will perform conscious hip-hop, and Demon Slayer will bring the instrumental beats. The full day's program will include many interactive elements, and creative costumes are encouraged.

The event takes place at Granada and Ocean blvd. in Long Beach, CA from 11:11am to 10:00pm. Evolver's portion will be taking place in the afternoon, between 4-6pm.
