Evolver Intensives: First Call

Hi Folks,
Our inaugural Evolver Intensives series, "Beyond 2012: Practical Tools for Your Transformation," offically starts this Tuesday, June 9. This teleseminar series is a way that you can support the work that Reality Sandwich (and now Evolver.net) has been doing for the past two years to bring you new ideas and crucial information, day after day. It will also support the development of the Evolver social network, including new features that we're adding to increase our technical capabilities in important ways. If you have been engaged by our web project and feel it has contributed to your life in a meaningful way, this is a chance for you to return the favor.
We have put together a great roster of visionaries and activists for the calls, including Douglas Rushkoff (author of Life, Inc.), David Wolfe (superfood impressario and author), Carmen Mauk (Burners Without Borders), Satyen Raja (WarriorSage), Neil Strauss (author of Emergency), and Ariane de Bonvoisin (author of First 30 Days).
Please download our "preview" call from the other night, with John Marshall Roberts, on communicating transformative ideas to people with different belief systems and values:

I was really happy with the way this call turned out, and think that it demonstrates the potential value of the series.
Our hope is that the Evolver Intensives will offer practical and helpful methods of preparing yourself, on the inside and outside, for what's coming, so that all of can find our way, with grace and abundance, through the challenges and changes ahead.
I don't think any other organization or company is approaching the issues raised by our current situation with the same mix of practicality and vision. I hope you will check out the series for yourself, and then join in for the live calls.
Yours,
Daniel

interrupting bell sound
A great talk!
The dinging bell must be people joining the phone call? If we're going to have these downloads available in the future we should find a way to mute these. They were a little distracting.

transcripts
I thoroughly enjoyed this call, and thought what John Marshall Roberts had to say was thought-provoking as well as practical.
As I am located on a different continent, it isn't practical / affordable for me to take part in these calls and I was wondering if you are planning to make transcripts available? If not, I would be happy to type up a transcript of this first call, if anyone thinks that would be valuable & no one has any objections?

Gizelle, I would love to read a transcript of the call, because I am deaf so I can't understand much of what is said on a phone, much less a seminar. Let me know if you do type it out.
go for it
sure, go for it.

nice comment on the call
someone sent this in to us:
"hey, just a quick note – I really am noticing a difference in like, just the last few days after that call with John. Almost all of my communication lately has been based on frustration and a feeling of sick dismay of the events happening around us, most often filtered through various media outlets. It was making it difficult for even those close to me – I know this sounds kind of weird – but I’ve always just been connected to those really close to me, and I could feel even they were putting walls up. I started looking at where I was coming from and instead of working from a sense of outrage and fear, tried as John suggested consciously replacing the negative energies with positive filters of compassion and hope and love. I can feel my own energy centering easier and the communication flow with those around me is just amazing. Thanks so much, this was an excellent way to start the series, looking forward to what’s next – (and the calls too!) J elizabeth"
