The Event

Even though the four minute trailer for NBC's new series, The Event, doesn't explicitly mention UFOs or aliens, it's not hard to imagine that, somehow, these themes are important to the series. The President learns of a deeply secret CIA operation dealing with "others" of some sort who are held in a secure base in Alaska. "So this is true," he says, "this is all true." He is brought to their location and meets their "leader." He is going to hold a major press conference, but there is an attempt on his life. What is happening, according to The Event's Wikipedia entry, is "the biggest cover-up in U.S. history; a coverup which shapes the very core of mankind as a whole."
Makes you wonder, for sure.
Other bloggers, such as Larry Lowe, have discussed their knowledge that The Event is UFO/ET related. I've also been quietly told by another researcher that this is indeed the case.
I learned about this show sometime during the summer. At that time, I talked about it with Bryce Zabel, my intrepid co-author of the upcoming A.D., After Disclosure: The People's Guide to Life After Contact. Bryce and I had spent the spring and summer writing about what the world really will look like following the Disclosure of the UFO/ET reality here on planet Earth. So you can see why we would be especially interested in following this "event" for a major broadcasting network, especially since our own book is complete and due for release in late October.
With the release of a major television show based, it would seem, on something to do with a significant Earth-changing "event," I can only reflect on what I think will be the real Earth-changing event.
That will be the Disclosure -- whether by an American President or some other major public figure -- of the reality of a non-human intelligence interacting with humanity. An intelligence that is connected to the UFO phenomenon, and that is, fundamentally, "not us." They are "Others."
This does not mean they are extraterrestrial, though of course they might be. Perhaps, too, these Others inhabit some other dimension of reality. Or maybe they are humans from another place or time. Or maybe something entirely different, or some combination of possibilities. Dealing with them, trying to understand them, was one of the key issues of our book, but by no means the only one.
As far as I can tell, what we have done is unique. Bryce and I have tried to peer into the future, into a world in which the UFO reality is fully and openly acknowledged. A future in which we recognize that at least some UFOs have been the product of an advanced intelligence not from our civilization.
Ask yourself: how would the open acknowledgment of such a truth affect our world? How would it affect you personally?
For most of this last decade, I have been lecturing on the challenges and opportunities presented by a true disclosure of the reality of UFOs. The topic fascinates me. But what I discovered is that it is a lot easier to talk about why UFO secrecy ought to end, than it is to glimpse the murky future of a post-disclosure world.
But here is what I think will happen. There will be a day when the truth -- the big, big truth -- does come out. Today is not yesterday, and tomorrow surely will not be today. By that I simply mean that our world is changing too fast. We cannot possibly expect that in the coming years we will perceive and understand reality as we do today.
Think about the radical nature of some of our newest shared technology. Such products as pervasive as smart-phones and YouTube have only been with us for about five years. Do we really think time will just stand still, in a 2010 holding pattern for the remainder of our lives? What new technologies and new capabilities will exist in 2015? Or 2025? Or 2050?
Is it possible that, at some point between now and then, we achieve a critical mass in what we know and how we know it? One that forces "The Powers That Be" into acknowledging the obvious? Yes, I think it certainly is possible. I would say it is likely.
What will that "Event" be? That real event, not the one made for television?
Well, it can be a number of things, certainly, but my money is on a future sighting. A mass sighting, most probably, and one that is captured on multiple devices, from multiple perspectives. It would help if a major media representative were already there, forced into reporting the event because it's right there.
You think it's impossible? I would beg to differ. The UFO story of the past half century contains a rich history of mass sightings. But only in the last few decades have we had any practical capability to record objects in the sky. Even today, we are not quite able to have multiple, high quality devices ready to record strange things in the sky. Ever try getting a good night video out of your phone? Then you know what I mean. Within a few years, though, there is no question that things will be different.
So, if you consider that, at some point between now and then, an Event of some sort makes Disclosure an inevitability - what then? What happens after Disclosure?
One thing you can be sure of is that, in such a world, everything will be affected. In the first place, before even dealing with the Others -- whoever, whatever they are -- there will be many shocked people. It will be an "everything-you-thought-you-knew-was-wrong" moment. People will immediately understand that their government has lied to them for an entire lifetime. Then, following the initial shock, they will be very angry.
For once people begin asking how the lie succeeded for so long, they will begin looking at some of the major institutions of our world: government, media, academia. They will want to know how it happened that these bodies, supposedly representing the people, lied to them for so long. What they will find will be corruption and manipulation embedded within those institutions, all in the service of secrecy.
There will also be questions about energy. That is because one of the immediate issues in a post-Disclosure world will be the glaring obviousness of one thing: that whatever these Others use to get around, it isn't high-octane gasoline. Clearly, they use something different, something much better. Whatever that "better" is, it will seem logical to try to replace petroleum with it. Everyone dreams of a post-petroleum world, but how do we actually, concretely, make that transition -- especially when we are talking about the biggest business in the world? No one is saying we should not do it, but to think it will happen easily is pure fantasy.
Questions about petroleum are indelibly linked to questions about world finance. The world, after all, is a petroleum-based economy. Most of the value of world's goods is a direct reflection of the cost of the energy used to create and transport them. What, then, if we get something like "free" energy? Aside from creating a potential utopia or dystopia, how will that affect stock valuations, for starters?
We might also ask how Disclosure will affect world culture and society? Will there be a mass rejection of old values in favor of something new? Will there be a new generation gap, such as what people experienced during the 1960s ("don't trust anyone over 30")? Will there be a resurgence in hallucinogenic drugs, based on the idea that taking them will allow you to see other entities (this is already becoming a widespread belief among people who take certain substances common to South America). Will Disclosure perhaps spark a renaissance of the human spirit, learning, and creativity?
There are issues of religion and spirituality. How would the world's major religions deal with Disclosure? Are some better prepared than others? How might they interpret the Disclosure Event differently from one another? What kinds of new religions might we expect? Will Disclosure cause religions to collapse, or will it cause them to become more deeply entrenched?
We can ask the same of how Disclosure will affect the world of science. Certainly, scientists themselves are likely to be deeply upset by the news, at least initially. After all, most of them have spent their entire lives denying even the possibility that UFOs might actually be real. They will be in for a rude awakening. But then what? It is quite possible that Disclosure will spark a new era in science, new questions, new discoveries.
Then there will be the ultimate political fall out. After the shock to our institutions, the angry populations around the world, somehow, some way, our global system will realign itself. How will this happen? What will the new system look like? Will we have a global police state, or will Disclosure offer the opportunity to break the chains of authoritarianism?
These are not easy questions to answer. Some were not even easy to ask. None of us has a true crystal ball into the future. But in the course of writing A.D., After Disclosure, one thing became obvious to Bryce and me. The radical transformation of every facet of our world by Disclosure provides the reason for the secrecy itself. Bryce is no stranger to expressing these ideas in dramatic form on television -- his earlier NBC series about alien invasion, "Dark Skies," can easily be viewed as a cautionary tale for why the government intends to keep the secret intact at almost any cost.
In other words, the intrusion into our world by "Others" is radical enough. But even more radical is openly acknowledging them. Because doing so will rock our world so thoroughly that very little will be recognizable after the fallout.
Some may see this as a reason for not pushing Disclosure. Better safe than sorry, they might say. And indeed, those few who are in full possession of the secret have always felt this way. But you see, here is the problem with their position: the world is not static. Time keeps moving.
The day will come soon -- whether fifty years from now or tomorrow -- in which something will force their hand. Someone will have to admit something. Once that happens, all hell will break loose. Yes, leaders will continue to lie their asses off. Of course they will. Spin and lies will be the order of the day.
But this time something will be different. This time the intellectual playing field will be different. Lies and spin will be harder for the elite, not easier, in a post-Disclosure world. Not impossible, but certainly not easier. This is because once their lifetime of lies is revealed, everything goes on the table for discussion, and I can assure you there will be no shortage of good, reliable data, concerning the long history of UFO encounters, from which to begin your own research. I should know: I have spent nearly two decades poring over such data. It's there in abundance.
The real world, after the real Event, will surely be rather different from the fictionalized world portrayed on NBC following its fictionalized Event. No doubt, the television show will entertain. But the real-life issues caused by a lifetime of the greatest cover-up in modern history -- that is, the UFO cover-up -- are vastly more profound and complex than even those portrayed by NBC's latest thriller.

What Will Happen?
http://mahajohn.com
What will happen after Disclosure? First, Dick Cheney will call a press conference on the subject of 9/11. With the lights shining on his sweaty face, and the cameras pointing at him, and the media listening intently, he will glare for a moment, clear his throat and say "Ladies and Gentlemen, let me first begin by saying the original scenario was conceptualized by the President's father and his advisors. As for my direct involvement, I can assure you that although I aided and abetted the process, the President and the Bin Laden family were instrumental ..."
HA! Wouldn't that be nice?
I'm looking forward to reading this book, if only to see what other people are assuming will happen if/when there is every "disclosure" of the supposed existence of aliens. I'm frankly very disappointed in the fruits of the so-called disclosure movement thus far. Perhaps that's because the ostensible figurehead, Dr. Greer, seems to be something of a delusional, self-aggrandizing buffoon (then again, maybe I'm just too skeptical of his 'CE-5 Protocol').
The “Brookings Report” suggests that social upheaval or unrest might follow disclosure, and that it was in the best interest of the hegemons to keep such information tightly guarded. However, given the "conditioning" of entertainment media over the last 100 years, and the notion that "the government" is hardly worth our collective faith or trust, who among us would be surprised or shocked to learn that we have been the subject of ET-related deception for so many decades? Who could seriously be shaken by that? I say only the most naive and ignorant. I seem to recall that polling data suggests that a huge percentage of Americans believe the government is withholding knowledge related to UFOs and aliens.
I think the most shocking thing would be if we learned that ETs are in fact not conventional physical beings like ourselves, but something much stranger, hailing from Dimension El-Rayo X, traveling around on/in light beams that can materialize and dematerialize on command. Beyond that, why would every facet of our society change? I mean, there is literally NO reason to assume that this knowledge or disclosure will have any effect upon our day-to-day lives, or at least once we became adjusted to the idea. Unless one believes that super-powerful alien energy sources and technology will be distributed to every Dick, Jane, Tom, Harry, crack-head and religious nut-job extremist, than I see our Way of Life continuing on unabated, merely colored by the weird certainty that aliens exist.
Why would the post-disclosure world be so unrecognizable? Are the aliens going to give us the solution to feeding ourselves and providing shelter from the elements, with our lives being devoted to sensual pleasure and leisure and physical fitness? Are they going to give us health-care and cure our diseases and our spiritual malaise? Will they smash away the foundations of our imaginary religions? How will they make sure that the majority of the world's faithful don't see them as demons (that would be a pretty difficult meme to contain, me thinks). Will they give us awesomely full-efficient cars that run on magnetically-suspended balls of self-sustaining plasma quasi-singularities (I want one!)? Pest-free roses? Something better than honey? Music cooler than Pink Floyd and Radiohead? Does anyone envision a "Childhood's End"-type scenario, where weird ET being diplomats socialize with world leaders and politicos at tony Georgetown cocktail parties?
It was just about forty years ago that David Bowie suggested that there was a star man waiting in the sky whose fear of blowing our minds prevented him from coming to meet us. I just seriously doubt that's the case, especially in this day and age. Speaking from my myopic American perspective, all future unlikely scenarios became that much easier to accept for me on September 11, 2001, when so many bad Hollywood clichés seem to come true in the course of a few hours.
Interesting
Interesting that you bring up 9-11. The thing that I can't get my head around is that IF 9-11 was orchestrated by the U.S govt. and IF UFO secrecy is a real issue, how do these things connect? Both those things are a very good possibility - and the people who are in charge of UFO secrecy may be the same people who have a connection to 9-11. Cheney and the Bush dynasty. What is the connection between neo-conservatism and UFO secrecy? As always, oil and protecting money interests seems a shade too mundane. There may be a grander plan at work, one which they're unleashing in the worst way possible.
I'm not sure people would just go on with their lives. If the UFO conspiracy was revealed as legitimate, that would potentially legitimize every other conspiracy theory, no matter how dubious. Millions of people might start believing the elite are David Ickean lizards. The devoutly religious would dig in deeper and see this as the beginning of Armageddon. If some kind of free energy was unleashed by first contact, this could create havoc in the hands of terrorists of all religious stripes. This doesn't justify the Patriot Act, but it's one explanation for trying to aggressively control the population. The New World Order is a way to set up the world for first contact.
If you look at the recent "mosque" controversy, and how the media gives a voice to the most misinformed malcontents, the media would fan the fire of hysteria even if people were able to accept this information. "Experts weigh in: Are the aliens here to enslave us or eat us?"
Another issue - what if they are interdimensional. And what if they reveal, for instance, that all "souls" are interdimensional as well and the afterlife exists. Cue: mass suicides. These are all sci-fi scenarios at this point, but the whole thing is likely paradigm-destroying that could lead to people destroying each other. There's nothing to suggest that humans could deal with this information given our proclivity for war and how people go batshit over something like a non-mosque at Ground Zero, let alone something that shatters the fabric of known reality. I'd like to believe otherwise, but our world doesn't seem set up to reward rational, sustainable thinking. And within the confines of the current paradigm, it doesn't seem like the new paradigm will come quietly.

Ring side seat...
It’s fascinating to witness the growth of interest in all things “alien”. The increasing need for an answer to these anomalous occurrences, sightings, and experiences is a strong indication that something underlies the attention all of this is being given. But… what?
It’s also interesting to wonder about the basis for the many different explanations offered, as if each one is the definitive explanation. In my opinion, each explanation only reflects the stage of consciousness of the groups accepting it, and not necessarily what will eventually become the true explanation.
Those at the Magical stage of consciousness believe in the collective unconscious-spontaneous kinetic theory. Those at the Mythical stage of consciousness believe the beneficent alien theory. And those at the Rational stage of consciousness believe in all things you can throw a stick at.
There are many variations, of course, but all theories clearly reflect the stage of awareness of those who believe them. What’s really funny is that they are totally unaware that they are all locked in the prison of their retarded little worldview.
It’s fun to watch all the sheeple as they gather in their myopic little clans to argue over what their severely handicapped imaginations are generating. Better than IMAX!
Speaking of the movies, I recently rented the movie The Forth Kind and became even more fascinated by it all. What’s more compelling than a documentary with ACTUAL FOOTAGE of the effects of alien abductions? Great movie!
Just keep your conspiracy theories coming… I’ve got a ring-side seat for the greatest show of all time and can’t think of anything more entertaining!!

Your skepticism and irreverance are apparent and, I think, admirable. However, you seem so earnest talking about "The Fourth Kind," that I wonder if you know that every single aspect of that movie was fiction. Nothing of the sort ever happened, and the entire scenario - although awesome - was merely part of the set-up for the story. I will admit that I totally bought into it for a week, and breathlessly told a friend about it before I was clued in.
consciousness
What can I say? Like Fox Mulder "I want to believe," so I guess I had my BS-detector on 'silent' mode when I saw "The Fourth Kind."
I don't know why you felt it necessary to attempt to insult me.
The problem is political
Richard Dolan raises some fascinating questions, but my initial reaction on beginning to read his article was: "Jeez, I have known or believed these things (concerning non-human intelligences interacting with the human world) for a long time but I still have to work for a living, and if tomorrow almost everyone knew or believed what I do then I and they would still have to work for a living."
Certainly, as Richard says, there would be massive loss of faith in the established social institutions (government, academia, etc.) which have been lying to us all along, but they are already regarded by most people with (at best) distrust. As mahajohn said, we will still have to feed ourselves. And we have to keep a roof over our heads and protect ourselves and friends and family from those who would steal from us.
So what would change except that all the 'conspiracy theories' would suddenly be seen as hitherto unspeakable truths? That would certainly be an interesting situation, and I hope it happens, since the nightly news tends to be a bit boring and depressing. As mahajohn also said, probably the religious fundamentalists of all stripes would go apeshit and denounce the non-human intelligences as demons. Perhaps they would also be inclined to kill anyone whose opinion differed. Interesting times indeed!
I agree that it's unlikely that the 'ET visitations' have involved physical craft. Reality is not just physical reality. Our physical world is a bubble in a much larger reality which itself may have many variations. The existence of non-physical reality is now proven by the many DMT trippers who have been there and have reported their observations (see http://www.serendipity.li/dmt/340_dmt_trip_reports.htm ).
I suspect that the entities in that world (and perhaps other non-physical worlds) can manifest themselves in our world in any way and shape they wish, though we have no clue as to how they do it or what their purpose might be. And there might be factions among them with differing attitudes to humans. Some of them might regard human society as like our reality-TV -- the more dramatic the better (thus invasions, wars, famines, epidemics, dictatorships, revolutions and psyops such as 9/11). Others might be of the view that Earth reality is actually a place of learning for souls on a spiritual path (and not just, or even primarily, through suffering). Clearly these factions would have very different policies regarding exercising influence on human society. The 9/11-ETs would be in cahoots with the Pentagon and the international bankers so as to bring about a fascist one-world government (see http://www.serendipity.li/capitalism/prognosis_2012.htm ) intended to deprive humans of any means for realizing their spiritual nature, and render them subject to total control in order to make a more entertaining ongoing drama. They might even engineer a Disclosure (in December 2012?) if this would help them achieve their purpose.
But this scenario of 'factions' might well be rather anthropomorphic. The world of the DMT entities is so far almost totally incomprehensible to us -- though those entities do exhibit human qualities, so they are not 100% alien. The division of non-physical entities into 'good' and 'bad' ETs might be accurate or it might be totally misguided. We're dealing here with things that have no rational explanation.
While I applaud Richard Dolan's raising of the questions he does, and regard his expectation of an imminent Disclosure (by whomever and for whatever purpose) as entirely possible, I don't think it's something we should just wait for, hoping that the effects will turn out to be as we would like. If we are to free ourselves from subservience to the bad ETs and their Earthly minions we must ensure that we have the means to attain direct knowledge of non-physical (a.k.a. spiritual) reality. This entails providing general access to shamanic practice, use of psychedelics and any spiritual practices which are effective. Currently the powers-that-be do what they can to suppress the availability of these methods. So basically the problem is political: how to rid ourselves of those regimes which deprive us of access to the means to attain direct spiritual knowledge. Either we figure this out for ourselves or we seek advice from non-physical beings -- I doubt that a solution is going to be handed to us.
Head Vatican Demonology expert says ETs are not demons
"As mahajohn also said, probably the religious fundamentalists of all stripes would go apeshit and denounce the non-human intelligences as demons."
It is interesting to note that the Head Demonology expert at the Vatican already has gone on national Italian television over 5 times in recent months to claim that: "ET contact is a real phenomenon, and they are NOT demonic, NOT entity attachment and NOT due to psychological impairment." Leaders such as Balducci will step up to ensure the fundamentalist interpretations do not become to extreme. Read more here:

http://mahajohn.com DMT.
Are non-human intelligences physical beings?
Clearly mahajohn espouses the ontological position known as 'physicalism'. I believe this view is false, and I have given my reasons at http://www.serendipity.li/dmt/physicalism.htm so no need to repeat them here.
I'll simply note that when mahajohn says "We experience with our brains" he is simply assuming that the only reality is physical reality. From this assumption he derives the conclusion that there can be no non-physical reality (and so the world of the DMT entities must be merely hallucinatory, thus unreal). But which is more reliable as a guide to what is real: direct in-your-face self-validating awareness (with hundreds of people reporting basically the same observations) or philosophical/ontological assertions as to what is the case?
Questions relating to the world revealed by the use of DMT are not irrelevant to the topic of this thread because espousal or denial of physicalism is basic to the question of where the non-human intelligences might come from. Since mahajohn is a physicalist he must assert that these entities are either physical or they are unreal. If physical, do they arrive in space ships? And if so, from where? If unreal, are they perhaps collective hallucinations? If so, what does that mean, exactly?
You are in error?
You do not truly know what ultimate belief system I espouse. In fact, I have none, although I have noticed that contemporary science seems to have a goodly number of wise notions about the nature of time/space/matter/energy/etc. As such, we have far more reliable evidence of the "physicalist paradigm" being so than we do of others, the latter of which are so often elusive when it comes to proving their reality. Where is the proof of non-physical reality's absolute existence? A hydrogen bomb proves the Einsteinean notion of the equivalence of matter and energy, as well as many other notions arrived at by 19th and 20th century physics. Where is the proof-positive "hydrogen bomb" of non-physical reality?
You maintain that because "physicalism" can not yet explain how consciousness "emerges" from matter, there is therefore reason to suppose that physicalism can NOT provide answers, now or ever, and further, that this somehow proves that consciousness (or any other weird phenomenon) is non-physical. This is precisely the same argument made by creationists and proponents of intelligent design, i.e. an incomplete explanatory mechanism for a given phenomenon leaves room for an enormous leap towards ideas of non-physical supernatural agency or cause.
As far DMT experiences being REAL, and those that would deny direct, lived experience as somehow delusional fools at best, I submit to you this: the great majority of the scientific establishment once accepted as a given that the Earth was fixed and immobile, and had all sorts of well-reasoned ideas based on observation and experience to argue that it was, and that the extremely small minority of heretics who believe otherwise were wrong. Fortunately, the heretics happened to have physical evidence on their side, and although it took a long time, that objective information eventually overthrew the belief that was actually based on invalid assumptions, superstition and subjective experience. By your standard, Jesus once appeared as a 900-foot tall dude in Tulsa, Oklahoma, because Oral Roberts asserted as such. By your standard, the sun miraculously flitted about the sky, because a bunch of people say they saw it do so. By your standard, the DC sniper was an Arab dude with an AK-47 in a white van, because someone said that's what they saw. By your standard, Jesus is real, because millions of people claim to hear his voice and feel his presence in very literal ways.
I have not explicitly asserted that aliens or DMT entities are either physical or unreal, but only that WE as PERCEIVERS can apparently only approach the transpersonal world through our flesh. Otherwise, why would humans need to take a powerful psychedelic to experience DMT entities? Also, from a physicalist perspective, shouldn't we EXPECT a bunch of people from similar cultures, with similar nervous systems, taking the same drug, which affects the brain in similar ways, to have extremely similar experiences, person-to-person?
Disclosure is a funny word.
Unveiling
I'm on board with howard16's comment. There is an assumption that the government has precise knowledge of what the UFO phenomenon is and has reached agreements with the UFO inhabitants to the exclusion of the public. It seems more likely they have no idea what to make of it, and are not about to disclose anything, because they have nothing to disclose, or at least nothing that would make it look like they are in control of what's going on.
The concept of disclosure seems to have played a part in UFO/conspiracy mythology culture for as long as its been around. The big disclosure is always around the corner. I think there needs to be more of a shift towards thinking about our own powers of disclosure and finding truth. The apocalypse (unveiling) is a universal process that we all need to take part in, I believe.

UFOs = military?
Pleased to be explaining the Alien Abduction Syndrome, the recovered implants, DNA tests on the "star-child skull" and the rich history of mythic narrative that seems to fit right into the ET hypothosis.
Iv'e been carefully looking at this material for the past +20 years and, to me, the ALL UFO = MILITARY hypothosis just does not hold water. At all.
keep looking. You are missing a lot of data.
*I also don't agree with the hypothosis that all ET's are simply "interdimensional" (as people call it) nor all ET's are simply biological entities from another planet. or within our planet.
starchild dna
I thought this was interesting about similarities between the storyline of the show regarding beings that look exactly like humans yet are genetically one-percent different and the testimony of retired military officer Robert O. Dean.
http://newcrystalmind.com/2010/the-event-and-testimony-of-sergeant-comma...
Also interesting about the dna results from the starchild skull -
'A modified "shotgun" DNA recovery technique has been successfully used to recover coherent segments of the Starchild Skull's nuclear DNA. Of the (approx.) 3 billion base pairs in the skull's genome, several thousand have been recovered. These nuclear DNA fragments have been analyzed by the National Institutes of Health BLAST program, and a substantial percentage of that DNA has "no significant similarity" to any DNA previously found on Earth. These results have been verified and repeated; however, more DNA needs to be recovered and analyzed before a formal report can be completed.'

What is most interesting to
What is most interesting to me at this point is that we feel such a strong need to have The Truth validated through the very channels that have been created to control us.
If the so called "Powers That Be" ever disclose anything, it will be in support of their continuing agenda of global dominance delivered through carefully constructed and controlled channels. The usual suspects are major media outlets, the US Government, US Military, US Intelligence Community, the UN, SETI, NASA, and a select group of carefully packaged and promoted, establishment-sanctioned scientists.
Never mind the fact that these people have given us no reason to trust them over the past 60 years. We NEED them to tell us The Truth because we have been heavily conditioned to do so. This is why we flock to TV shows, news programs, and press releases that discuss the subjects of UFOs and ETs. Lord knows, I am as guilty of seeking and sharing mainstream validation as anyone.
And what Truth, do we really expect from our acknowledged authorities? Does anyone really expect these people to suddenly fess up to anything? The old boys in the back room are only interested in maintaining power and control. They will never willingly do the right thing. Instead, we get these silly games. Tantalizing TV shows, leaked or suddenly released military documents, NASA/SETI dog-and-pony shows, and an endless array of lights in the sky that don't appear to be conventional aircraft.
Eventually, some sort of orchestrated event/landing/disclosure will be staged to meet our conditioned expectations, leveraging the 60 year head start the Secret Government has gained since taking the Nazi brain trust and treasure horde underground. It is the ultimate Order from Chaos maneuver. Shake up the little 3D bubble, scare the slaves silly, then walk in with The Answer, and restore Order for the next few hundred years. This is what some people do for fun between Big Bangs.
The the advent of the Global Village has brought the Powers That Be together once and for all. And after careful consideration, they decided to join forces to conduct the serious business of locking down reality so the slaves stay docile and compliant. They have been quite successful. The elite are no longer a threat to each other and the slaves are no longer a threat to the Established Order. This planet is wrapped up tight as a drum and they are beginning to seek out new ventures in the galaxy.
But...
This is not just a physical 3D game. It's a multidimensional spiritual adventure. We don't have to wait for ships to land and give us The Truth. We can raise our consciousness and move beyond the confines of the hologram. We don't have to wait for other worldly beings to be delivered to us through a control channel. We can reach out to other dimensions through our own being to discover and share our own truths.
I see 2012 as point when the timer goes off and we see where we stand in the Freedom vs Control game. What we do with our freedom (and responsibility) once we move beyond the current control agenda remains to be seen.
Tag, you're it.
