A new documentary is in production that claims to reveal hidden information about Mayan cosmology regarding the infamous date of 2012 and alien contact--including references to "landing pads in the jungle that are 3,000 years old."
The film, "Revelations of the Mayans 2012 and Beyond," is being financed by the Mexican government and is scheduled to begin shooting at the end of the year.
In the film, Mexico's tourism minister for Campeche, Luis Augosto Garcia Rosado, describes how Mayans ceremonially constructed one pyramid on top of another adding to the foundation according to sacred calendars. He refers to the site of Calakmul where archaeologists "have discovered rooms inside the pyramid that have never been seen or explored before." The film also collaborates with Guatemala in exposing "certain provocative archeological discoveries" that are currently classified.
The collaboration with filmmakers and the Guatemala's president, Álvaro Colom Caballeros, will release state-held secrets of the past 80 years for "the good of mankind." According to the film's producer, Raul Julia-Levy, "Mexico will release codices, artifacts, and significant documents with evidence of Mayan and extraterrestrial contact, and all of their information will be corroborated by archaeologists."
The film crew, with director Juan Carlos Ruflo (2006 Sundance winner In the Pit) will be allowed to enter and film these discoveries the first time, and will present them to the world with a theatrical release in the Fall of 2012. Perhaps there can be a screening of the finished work on Chichen Itza's north wall heralding the 2012 time of transformation?
