E.T. Is Our Brother
Adam Elenbaas
This past week the Vatican released a statement about UFOs for the first time ever. According to the Reverend Jose Gabriel Funes, who is the Jesuit director of the Vatican Observatory, believing in UFOs does not contradict the existence of God.
In an interview published by the Vatican newspaper, L'Osservatore Romano, Funes said that intelligent life could exist and that, "aliens would still be God's creatures." The interview headline read, "The Extraterrestrial is my Brother." The interview was conducted following the French government's public release of some 1600+ UFO sighting files last March.

It is happening?
In my recent article "Broadcasting the Third Kind" I argue that we are seeing a disclosure process unfolding in media and politics about the existence of ETs/UFOs...
Just two nights ago, NBC's Dateline aired an hour special on the "Top 10 Close Encounters" featuring eyewitnesses from the Stephenville incident, and interviews with high-profile believers like ex-governor of Arizona Fife Symington. Although it may seem like TV and news media have always exploited this sort of topic for ratings, I argue that there have been some dramatic changes in the type of presentation we're now seeing in the last 2 years, the credulity expressed by news anchors, the calibre and breadth of media outlets reporting, etc...
This announcement from the Vatican falls in line with my sense that we will be seeing more and more political/military admissions, official statements, TV specials, and disclosures in the coming months.

Good One, Pope.
Homosexual aliens
Oh, don't worry. I'm sure homosexual aliens will also be condemned.
Be the change you want to see through internal alchemy
damned aliens
God may have created aliens, just like He created savages and homosexuals, but until they accept the holy communion of the church of Rome they are damned for eternity.
I bet the Pope is wriggling with glee at the prospect of so many potential new converts awaiting him in the stellar wastelands.
Gay Aliens/Gay Pope
Gay aliens would have to be condemned. The current pope does not want to out himself.

They actually said aliens are superior
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/7399661.stm
Just as there are multiple forms of life on earth, so there could exist intelligent beings in outer space created by God. And some aliens could even be free from original sin, he speculates.
This is too weird
about the pope
The pope also says it is possible for all men to be saved and not one to enter the fires of hell "thus is the greatness of our God's mercy." The pope has also outlined new deadly sins stating that sin is no longer a personal issue but now affects community and sometimes the world. Pollution is one of them. I think this new pope has been a good influence. Everyone hates the Pope for not supporting homosexuality but I rarely hear people attacking whatever the Dalai Llama says despite the fact he has openly declared oral and anal sex to be aberrant (which leaves homosexuals with no way to express romantic love). I'm not a Catholic but I am a Christian. I always since I was a kid thought when Jesus leaves his disciples and says. "I have sheep not of this fold," he was referring to aliens. Don't be surprised if aliens have their own messiah they say can save us. If we ever meet. =P

Or more likely they are just hoping to bring their depraved brand of oppression and mind control to the unfortunate inhabitants of other planets. Its unlikely that they will find a race as gullible as us earthlings. As the population of Earth change from brain dead christians to brain dead consumers they need to find fresh meat for their lucefarian table. Or maybe its all the same thing.

I wouldn't trust the Vatican as far as I could ...
THROW IT!!!
Vatican City and its wealth and power is part of the New World Order people!
The New World Order people are obviously not to be trusted.
THEY did 9/11...?! And 7/7, etc.
THEY are planning a much bigger 'false flag' 'alien invasion', and 'rescue' according to some sources. Checkout this really weird promo for the London 2012 Olympics http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBTk4Htg01k&eurl=http://thecosmicmind.blo...

Welcome to the Slave Planet.
They will probably use the new satellite and holograph technology to convince us that out "space brethern" have arrived and that they need to declare martial law to stop panic and lawlessness. The world population, already reeling under the burden of an engineered economic meltdown will stand there meekly while our lords and masters throw away any remaining human rights we have and bingo, instant 'slave planet'. Far fetched?. If someone had told you that they were going to pull a 911 back in 2000 you would have said that they were nuts, that it wouldnt work, etc.

honoring the process
I'll be the voice of gentle dissent.
I'm not much for conspiracy theories, motherships, and slave-states. I find that these theories tend to underestimate the consciousness of our species.
Many people are awake or are in the middle of transformative experiences right now.
While I don't underestimate suffering and pain on our planet right now, I also feel that it's important to be optimistic, loving, and kind in our vision of the cosmos.
I think this release from the Vatican is fun and interesting. It does not excite frustration, anger or suspicion inside of me. It makes me feel excited. I see this as a step in the right direction for the church.
While practicing yoga this week, when I asked my teacher about how long it would take for my leg to reach the floor in this particular pose that frustrates me, she said, "just honor where your leg is right now." It will stretch more in time.
I think we should do that intellectually as well. So I feel gratitude and show my honor for a positive and healthy decision on the part of the Vatican.
Poco y poco!
Adam Elenbaas
Hrmmm
I must demur here...
If there were ever an organization with an occult and conspiratorial agenda, it's the Vatican. (Watch David Wilcock break down the "Courtyard of the Pinecone" and think on it again... End of Part 3, into Part 4)
Press releases about the hierarchical sacredness of alien species makes my spidey-sense tingle.
Conspiracy Facts
With all due respect Adam I have to agree with ST Frequency above. Far from being an out of touch and dated group of slightly misguided but well meaning clerics. The vatican has been exposed in the last few years as an utterly corrupt organization whose Illuminati ( a satanic organization ) is the secret society running the world, as they have done in various guises 300 AD ( as Vatican Inc.) and in other guises before this. See the work of Michael Tsarion, Jordan Maxwell, Acharya S and others. They dont make any statements lightly. As the jungalist once said
" Dem me no truss!"
"Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely."-Lord Acton (1887)
Conspiracy lore..
Conspiracy lore is a slippery slope leading to a bottomless pit... I try not to get too deep into it.
But in the case of the Catholic Church, I think we have a good bet that there's some occult agenda at work. The completely bizzare proclamations of certain aliens without "original sin" aren't a simple nod to the concept of extraterrsetrial life. And to suddenly begin embracing Darwinian evolution? I haven't been closely following the philosophy of the Vatican, but this seems completely surreal.
question
There is definitely some fishy stuff with the Catholic church and its history. I agree with you ST.
I just try not to get too hoo-rah about that stuff. It never fails to get me on the looney boat to stressville.
Could you tell me more about the aliens without original sin? What's that all about? That definitely raised my eyebrow.
Adam Elenbaas
Original Sin
Adam,
I got this from the BBC piece posted above. I'd like to see the transcript of the original interview, but here's how it's paraphrased:
"Just as there are multiple forms of life on earth, so there could exist intelligent beings in outer space created by God. And some aliens could even be free from original sin, he speculates."
the mothership " I'm not much for it"
......., yup! the Roman Catholic Church no conspiracy there nope! the Pope is just bored in his magnificent palace. oh, all those accounts of sightings, UFO's Elvis, Mother Mary crying, Big Foot, the Plan the Plan the Plan is just all the fantasy of a midget on the island of Huxley, yup yup yup. but seriously folks, when the Olmec Mothership returns, we all will jump for joy! now lets imagine the Pope, sitting there trying to figure out how to bring back the dark ages, so people like him can feel safe, under that shroud of JC.
what conspiracy, it's all smoking guns right out in the open.
A Note of Skepticism
nods
My skepticism of conspiracy theories, occult agendas, etc, comes from direct experiences I've had in the past year.
During an Ayahuasca ceremony in Peru this past December I went through a long ceremony that sent me into the bardos of paranoia, insanity, alien abduction and conspiracy theory.
Then I purged and purged and purged.
I saw angels explaining to me how conspiracy theories had effected my energetic body.
For me, and this is highly personal, not meant to be prescriptive, conspiracy theories created cynicism, paranoia, a feeling of separation, a false gnosis, and more than anything, fear.
And I had been a huge proponent of conspiracy theories.
For those who seek love, no evidence is ever enough.
None of those feelings I had about conspiracy were "bad," but they were causing me a lot of energetic dis-ease. Ayahuasca taught me how to be more mindful of how those ideas were really making me feel, how they were making me see others, see the world, see the cosmos. Ayahuasca taught me that vision is infinite, and the power of my visionary choices should never, ever, be underestimated.
I am stronger in my vision of the cosmos and reality than a conspiracy theory. That's how it is for me, at this point (could change, who knows).
I saw witch-craft voodoo from other planets. Alien headdresses, tangled and pulsing with terror. I saw flaming language from hell. I saw 2012 nightmares. I saw conspiracy theories, armies of demonic underlords from deep in the earth.
And after I sat long enough with these visions I realized that these were things I was hoping for. These were things I wanted. These were things I had been doing nothing to fight against, because there was nothing I could have done.
One of the darker forms of witchcraft is to generate excitement around a targets paranoia. The brujeria will infect a person's mind so deeply that they are not only paranoid and afraid but addicted to and excited over that pathology.
This is how I was. Then I saw Angels riding on rainbow coloroed dragonflies. They pushed those consciousness structures into my belly, and I puked them out. It felt like I went 9 rounds with a tank.
I can only speak from that experience.
But for me, now, conspiracy theories aren't worth my time or energy. They create in me nothing of value. At best they generate excitement for the interconnection of all things. But in that energetic connection is a pathos based on destruction and evil (because that's how its defined in that consciousness, as something hidden, not seen, and evil, not good).
Those conspiracy energies, in my experience, vibe on the idea that destruction and pain are the common denominator. Not just the common denominator but the absolute zero of life in the cosmos. And any project of civilization working otherwise, they want to break. They want to destroy us because they think that optimism is arrogant.
I understood that those energies are within me. They are within everything. But they manifest according to the excitement we direct towards their existence.
So I'll say it now until I die, even if there is a mothership in my back yard. I will say, "You, do, not, exist for me."
The seduction of my mind is the only alien abduction that exists at this moment.
That's just how I see it.
I say this with a great respect for the huge variety of experiences people have had. This is how my path has taught me. I've made some universal sounding statements, but I don't feel bad about that.
They aren't meant to be for everyone. The energy of a universal statement, in my opinion, is like good grit.
I like to grind against the grit, and see what comes out.
There is no such thing as a civilization, or group, hidden from my clear vision, that can ever touch me or destroy my soul.
Is the pope the devil? Is the illuminati real? Not to be a jerk, or to be flippant to anyone whose exchanging thoughts with me here, but when those questions come up for me in my own head, I'm like....it's so simple----
I've already met the devil inside of myself, and I'm not overly impressed. At least, I know not to be.
Adam Elenbaas
Refreshing post
Nice one Adam, I agree - part of the problem with conspiracy theories is that it is always "them." I suspect that by believing in and spreading these conspiracy theories we risk participating in them - an unconscious conspiration perhaps, giving our power away to agencies we do not know and who may not in fact exist. I always try to remember that its not "them," its "us."
I suppose inspiration is the opposite of conspiration.
ok, watts fishy here
some innocent public relations announcement by the Vacuous Vatican? Oh heck i read books about Generals in wars and their strategies, how forces are moved from one side of the field to another, like Rommel won those tank battles in the north Africa desert, how he out witted the British in battle after battle, that's right Ratzinger is some kind of shrewd mover of Bishops and Birds.Got an Ace up his robe sleeve, its called pretend to be the ear to the flock movers, and do a clever rook move, feint to the obvious competition of 2012 and mock our sincerity by sudden concern to be sincere about our space brothers. After all Ratzinger has a stinger pen, and he is an intellectual, and as i am not a Pope buff i will not guess on how he invisions the come back of the Catholic Church, but we know what he said about rock and roll, and all that jazz.
Just look now at the etheric balls of light shining down at us from the Vatican cieling.Or could it be that mister Rat Pope saw something, and it freaked the bejezus out of him? The Galactic Federation sent a message to our most famous religious leader.hmmm.
Like lambs to the slaughter
One of my personal favourites is this citation from Charles Fort:
"We keep cattle. Who keeps us?"
So maybe this isn't only a prisonplanet, but also a 'cattle-pen' with breeding and genetic experiments. Unfortunately one of the side effects of this breeding has been the developement of some rudimentary intelligence in humanity, a trait not practical in slaughter animals. They could get ideas (Tree of knowledge; Babeltower).
Could be that our owners have decided to intervene, and their minions, the 'shepherds' from the black church, are now preparing the way for a return to blessed ignorance.
We skall probably see a lot of theological mumbo-jumbo in the next few years, explaining why we meekly should accept our slave-status.
(For those, who don't share my fascination for conspiracy-theories and ETs, take the above allegorically for any group or ideology, who wants world domination; and in any case it isn't more than a hypothesis).
real interesting vision Adam
Very powerful vision you had Adam!!
Now as with all visions, they are unique for the individual.
This is why religions usually end up corrupt. Because if an individual's vision is made to be 'sacrosanct', and written down and then literalized, it often becomes stagnant and toxic.
So, conspiracy theory. To conspire. Two men can conspire in whisper behind your back and that is a conspiracy isn't it? (A 'theory' until you get clued up what they plannin, and/or have done 'secretly').......Are they planning something, some manipulation, shock, you aren't expecting....? Surely that is what it is.
We DO know of elite groups of men (philosopher-kings?) who take it upon themselves that they are superior humans/'gods' who know best.
That you are children, useless eaters, the great unwashed, animals, cattle. So they must lead you, but ....'we MUSTN'T tell the children'...! It is blatant.
Checkout 'Edward Bernays propaganda'to see this conspiracy spelled out for real, IS real.
Do some people become paranoid getting into this field of inquiry? Yes, I have heard of that. It's been called falling down the rabbit hole.
Should we investigate this? Well, Adam, if this caused you dis-ease, so much so you had a very powerful healing Ayahuasca vision about this, well maybe for you, no.
I am not obsessed as such, but really curious to see behind the scenes what may be going on. Like a detective. I personally find it hard to dig people who don't want to.
For example, take 9/11, 7/7. There exist clues. But some people can dismiss numerological clues and quite happily compartmentalize, focussing on 'detonations' or 'non planes' etc. Now I can focus on different aspects, but not to block out an area I have suddenly discovered. That is not me.
I see we are in a very URGENT situation in this world. I see that this game being played us has been going on generations--mostly from civilization states. So I choose to know roots of the problem whereever inquiry takes me. Even to 'insanity'. Even where angels fear to tread ;)
Dialectics
Conspiracy theories can be very helpful. People at all levels of power conspire and many do so in secret. Few people will argue with that. When W. Mark Felt, AKA Deep Throat, informed Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein of the Washington Post about the secret nature of the Nixon Whitehouse, it was a conspiracy theory. It was also one hundred percent accurate. Yet, the evidence they provided was varied, valid, and sound.
I cannot help but notice that many conspiracy theorists rely heavily on speculative thought, personal accounts, intuition, opinion, appeals to shady, undisclosed professionals, clever editing, and magical thinking. Many of these arguments rely heavily on fallacy to create the illusion of truth and they simply don't hold water.
There is an inherent danger in engaging in any form of magical thinking. The memetic structures we call conspiracy theories can act like demons that possess people and create unconscious, self-destructive behavior in order to propogate themselves. The epistimelogical devices created by The Greeks - The Socratic Method, Platonic Reasoning, Dialectics, etc. - are a good shield against these memetic viruses. Magical thinking has its place and has its value, but it should not be relied upon; rather, it should be respected.
There are conspiracy theories that present evidence that is more telling and accurate than accounts provided by the status quo. I don't think Oswald alone killed Kennedy (if at all.) I question the circumstances of 911 although I could not tell you what actually happened. I don't know the answers to those questions and I don't think anyone does. There is simply too much that goes unanswered without a wealth of further information that can act as evidence.
brotherhood
Zezt,
Totally. I mean, shoot man. Take your rainbow shotgun to insanity and blow the space out.
I support your ability to walk whatever path you want, and should you ever need me, my help, support, wisdom, strength, then I'm there for you-----full on.
As men, I think its far too often that we forget our brotherhood and clan of warriorship. Sometimes I think we have Clint Eastwood fetishes in pscyhospace.
I'd roll in the mud right now to have more brothers, speaking of sorting out my paranoia.
Adam Elenbaas
one more thing zezt
Let me add one more thing that I feel like you might appreciate more interaction with.
If the two men behind my back were conspiring, then that's what they are doing. But if I had clues, then I would confront them and ask, "are you conspiring against me."
If they said "no," then I'd let it go and trust.
Why? Because if I trust, then when they hit me, my relaxation will be my deliverance. My anticipation of their blow would be the thing that caused me the most harm.
I don't see anyone making any legitimate accusations, and I don't see anyone coming forward with all these big theories.
I would have no way of knowing where to start with that stuff. Honestly, I don't care. I bet it would take less energy to be nailed to a cross then to sort all that stuff, and somehow I feel like that's the point.
So I'll sit back and feel urgent, if I have to, that there is nothing much to be urgent about.
Come what may.
If people like Jesus and the Buddha could sit with suffering until stars were born, then I know that I am capable of the same thing.
My fear OF fear----that does very little to help me.
Now, on another level, I think its possible to investigate, gather clues, and make accusations in a very beautiful and centered way. I'm just not the guy whose going to do it.
Sounds like you are. I mean this sincerely. That's gutsy.
Adam Elenbaas
this is a riot
we have a Pope talking about talking to Aliens, and we have the conspiracy of Them!!!! well, Holy Blood Holy Mud.
"might as well go fishing" ....as Terence Mckenna said
oh wow
I got my best laugh of the day from the mckenna quote you left here!
Adam Elenbaas
the " go fishing"
Go Fishing
CJ your quote reminded me of this poem, which it seems appropriate to share here:
Go Fishing
Join water, wade in underbeing
Let brain mist into moist earth
Ghost loosen away downstream
Gulp river and gravity
Lose words
Cease
Be assumed into glistenings of lymph
As if creation were a wound
As if this flow were all plasm healing.
Be supplanted by mud and leaves and pebbles
By sudden rainbow monster-structures
That materialize in suspension gulping
And dematerialize under pressure of the eye
Be cleft by the sliding prow
Displaced by the hull of light and shadow
Dissolved in earth-wave, the soft sun-shock,
Dismembered in sun-melt
Become translucent - one untangling drift
Of water-mesh, and a weight of earth-taste light
Mangled by wing-shadows
Everything circling and flowing hover-still
Crawl out over roots, new and nameless
Search for face, harden into limbs
Let the world come back, like a white hospital
Busy with urgency words
Try to speak and nearly succeed
Heal into time and other people
speaking of Golden Sardines
poetry sings to its connection to the elements, to everything that makes sense to the senses, as poem knows so do the healing of time.
begin the healing, say the words... hunt in the deep for the pearl of wisdom.
Awesomeness
Adam, thanks for relating your Ayahuasca experience above, amazing. I've been tinkering with different conspiracy type theory information as an interesting puzzle for a few years now. But at a certain point, a point I feel like I'm arriving at presently, I wonder how much good delving into these areas is really doing me anymore. I feel not much. That said, I hear ya Zezt, I too felt the need to dig through these things and try to grasp at the roots. Like ST Frequency said above, conspiracy lore can be slippery slope though. I feel I know what I need to know now, and know it's time for me to put my attention and energy into other areas. Adam, your post has pushed me off the fence so to speak. Thanks for that. This is a great site with great people! Hats off to all :)

Lightening UP
I hear what people are saying about conspiracy. I am aware of it but dont let it take over my life. However the fact is these organizations are operating under false pretenses. I'm still going to have a beautiful fulfilling life when all is said and done. So will everyone else if they choose to. I grew up in a catholic dictatorship and no illusions about their agenda and their alliegiences with forces of oppression and disinformation down through the ages. I guess the bottom line is I just dont like having smoke blown up my ass by supposed 'educators' and ' uplifters' of humanity. Below is a link to some very good interviews about the agenda and activities of Vatican Inc. for anyone who is interested.Peace.

re: johnnymonicker
You have some important points, especially about epistemological methods.
Almost all epistemological approaches have their strong and weak points. On the positive side is, that the best of them can give some good answers, which can be controlled to a high degree by various methods (pragmatism etc).
The negative side is, that such epistemological methods have very strong limitations. They can't give any functional answers outside their own scope.
Take f.ex. science, faith, logic, bhakti-based religion, drugbased information, magic etc etc. They are all based on different asumptions, and the resulting conclusions are only valid for their own special perceptual/theoretical frame.
An effort to find syncretistic connections between such different 'local' methods, could lead to a higher degree of approximative truth.
I Follow
I agree with that (although science and logic have their origins in Greece.)
Syncretistic methods can generate novelty, lead to a further understanding of the human condition and shed light upon the elusive truths of existence. My concern is that many people do not consciously engage themselves in this manner.
Thoughts inspired by Johnny and Bogomil
I think the emergence of the socratic dialectic in the ancient world was a necessary development in the evolution of consciousness in that it punctured the formulaic mythic interpretations of being. The myths were no longer explanations of the origins of culture and language - they had become coopted, and twisted into propaganda - they had become explanations of the existence of prevailing power structures. Socrates overthrew all that, and was executed for that reason.
We still need the dialectic of course, but should remember that it can lead to cartesian dualism and ultimately reductionism. Contemporary conspiracy theorists are the vanguard of a new way of interpreting being; they are the first into the breach perhaps - they recognise the importance of intuition and metaphor, but they sometimes lack the vigorous edge of reason. I feel that if the dialectic can be wedded with metaphor, if we can recognise the illusory nature of the separation of poetry an science, then we might find ourselves passing through the defences of our own obsolescence into a new life, a new culture, and hopefully a new civilization.
dialectic of Trotsky
the wedding of an ice-pick to the head of the exile,
the dialetic that was wedded to Frida Kahlo's metaphor of a body of art,
we see Leon smiling with Andre' Breton in the garden of eternity,
where the metaphor's run wild and the masks of Kafka beetles are one with the elephant ear leaves.
They seem to have come to some vital metaphor or metaphors in the dialetic, in the chemical meeting of
revolutions of idea and data, of the Cave light that Diogenes asked Alexander to move out of his sunlight.
Trotsky the betrayed, and the betrayer, the miracle of the worker word planted deep in the ground of Mother Russia,
And all those Greek words for this that and the other.

maybe Ratzinger
was reading the Surrealist Manifesto in his water closet, because he secretly was jealous of the "Pope of Surrealism"
i would have liked to gotten my hands on the first copy, i recall seeing a copy of Commentaries on The Book of the Law, by AC that had his signiture and a note written to the person he was giving the copy to, it had an invitation for the book recipiant to "come over some time for some of my famous curry" with the famous phallic signature. This book was in a small book shop in Berkeley California, I could have bought it for a measly hundred bucks flat, but i did not have the cash, drat!
follow Plato???
The perps (perpetrators), I hear tell in the Conspiracy grapevine ;), say that they hold Plato as a serious mentor. Twas Plato who wrote the manifesto for the fascist global state, The Republic
Also, in the book I am reading now, The Spell of the Sensuous , David Abram. I am up to wwhere author mentions how it was Plato's time when Greek culture went from the more sensuous (magical feeling) Oral tradition to the more abstract Alpha~bet. I suspect this will be where more and more alienation from nature gets more intense
Tyrants love the fact we aren't hip to what they up to. There's a famous saying from Hitler, but have forgot. It says same in so many words.
But key point: Nature is under attack. WAKE UP!!

'Democracy Scam'
Burroughs also said
"Our leaders are criminally insane, or worse."
Also
"Lets pull the 'Democracy Scam' on them "
How right he was now that we are living in an era of the democracy scam writ large. And Breton on arch capitalist and purveyor of camembert watches Dali.
" He could not hear the cries of the common people over the squeaking of his patent leather shoes."
Dali that monarchist
that quote squeaked past me,i don't recall it, it sure is darn insightful into Dali's character, and what a character he was singing his name to pay for dinner, the signature being the payment of course, this was when he was well established in his later days, as the comsumate eccentric.
I met Burrough's son Billy once, nice guy, i bought him a beer and he told me about his life, he was gone about a year later.
Breton kicked almost everybody out of his surrealist group, or they walked, in any case, he had his vision and his writing sure ment a lot to me, i don't know much about his last years.
How many Popes
Yeah Billy B. I loved his 'Speed'. His early death an awful waste.
That quote was in fact the reason Breton gave for his expulsion of Dali.
One wonders how many Popes
( Surreal or 'Real')
It takes to change a lightbulb.
Or a planet for that matter.
Which begs the question,
Would a rat sing in the woods,
If no-one was there to hear him?
Peace.
