This Sunday, Evolver NYC invites you to a rare NYC screening and Q&A of a film that’s spread like wildfire across the international festival circuit -- Electronic Awakening. The film lifts the veil off an underground spiritual movement that has developed as part of electronic music culture worldwide. This close encounter with the mysticism of rave invokes the roots of religion, and offers insight into the future of spirituality. It investigates music culture’s connection to the prophecies of 2012, and how this powerful, even sacred relationship to electronic music has evolved overtime, and where it all seems to be leading them. 

After the screening, you will be able to ask your questions to the film’s director/producer A.C. Johner and executive producer/music director Julian Reyes.
