E-Bikes Plugged Into China

Electric pedal-bikes are quiet, have no emissions, and are much cheaper than cars. That, and the fact that the government encourages the bikes by making them an official technology and putting in extensive bicycle lanes, is why they outnumber cars in China four to one. They can be recharged by plugging into a wall outlet, and don't leave the rider tired after a long commute. Rechargeable battery technology used for these e-bikes has also been expanded to create electric mopeds, and may boost the development of electric cars.
