Green Dream

Hosting "one of America's dirtiest power plants," the state of New Mexico is responsible for almost twice the per capita emissions of greenhouse gases than the American average.  Dreaming New Mexico, a Bioneers collaberative project, hopes to end this unsustainable behavior.  Their approach focuses not only on visionary ideals, but on practical solutions ranging from energy production and agriculture to governance and environmental justice.  The initiative hopes "to heal the harms done to the state's air, waters and lands, as well as to the spirit and health of its diverse peoples," including the 20 different Native American nations that live there.
