Does the Universe Have a Center?

Ancient Mayans believed that the universe had a tangible structure, with a center. The modern cosmological paradigm is contrary to that belief. The Mayan's called the center of this structure Hunab-Ku. They believed that the Hunab-Ku was a cosmic "world tree" from which the rest of the structure of the universe was integrated and ordered. The current modern "Cosmological Principle" outlines a different view.
Mayan cosmological expert Carl Johan Calleman has written a intriguing summary explaining the relationship between these new discoveries and Mayan beliefs.
