Democracy In Action

Courtesy of Creative Time, the art exhibition "Democracy in America: The National Campaign" is being presented at the Park Avenue Armory this week. Part of a year-long national project exploring democracy, Creative Time is inviting active participation, as well presenting dozens of heartfelt artist/activist projects. There are too many must-see artworks to list here (Duke Riley's submarine, Pia Lindman's interactive Soap Box, Kenneth Tin-Kin Hung's video), so please check the website and get over there for their evening talks.

Event runs until Saturday, September 27. Open noon to 10pm daily. 643 Park Avenue between 66th and 67th St. Curated by Nato Thompson.
