Debunking the Myth of the Dollar Bill

83108392_498ead76c5_m.jpg

A recent article from Yahoo Daily News features a list of the popular conspiracy myths concerning the dollar bill and the Freemasons.

The article features interesting rebuttals to the most popular conspiracy theories, perhaps silencing those who are hoping for a National Treasure or DaVinci Code quest of their own.

Of course, it should be mentioned that the rebuttals are given by government officials!

Check out the theories and rebuttals here.

Tangents?

Wait a minute, you of all people, the most prolific, if not the most rational poster on Reality Sandwich are complaining about someone going off on a tangent. Go back and read some of your posts man. Then tell us all about plastering regurgitated shit all over the internet. Sometimes I like your posts and sometimes you are just grumpy.

*The hippie with the whippie cream dream is lost in the ghost dance of his rants as he raves and waves with one hand and types with the other mothers in the daycare center for the lost souls*

How's that for a tangent?

MDCCLXXVI

As a side note- Symbolism that is often left out of the list

1. You can make both the Seal of Solomon and a pentagram by connecting the letters M A S O N from 'Annuit Coeptis' and 'Novus Ordo Seclorum'.

2. At the base of the pyramid is MDCCLXXVI- the roman numerals for 1776. When the first, fourth, and seventh numerals are removed- you get interesting results. This isn't an arbitrary removal either.

Imagine in it terms of the triangle.. you remove the letters which would be the eye capstone which is separate from the rest of the pyramid..

So MDC CLX XVI.

With the 'eye' of each 'pyramid' removed- you get DC LX VI

or D=500 C=100, L=50 X=10, V=5 I=1

or 666.

That little bit was left out of the Yahoo article.. it's a little hard to explain away into a secular context.

Please stop all the posts cjmoore

I agree with you ecolocal....it has become very annoying

key screams

If you push your keyboard keys really hard the letters will get even bigger and your point will become even more clear.

lets all get along

I am all for good spirited debate, even when temperatures raise sometimes. But lets all remember to be kind as we go. Seems like a good virtue we can all conspire to create as we debate or dream or intensely disagree. Adam Elenbaas

a question:

what is a 'nazionist'?

didn't you guise get the nemo memo? it's all true. even the false parts. perhaps especially those maybe. The Conspiracy IS The Conspiracy.

"ordo ab chao" may be about how form and content arise out of (from within?) what appears to be random data. "anti-illuminati-alex-jones-esque-mason-hating-conspiracy-hunters" use this everytime they SEE a connection between a disney movie and 9/11.

the "real" battle may be psycho-spiritual. unchecked inner turmoil seems to lead to materialistic greed - a pathetic illusion of the control and mastery over self that is lacking. these hu-mans are in a great deal of pain. they suffer.

 EYE am in control.

wait what?

im like "oh look, people are goin at eachother! great fun! lets shove my face in there!" but no, i have no face. i am internet commenter.

dont worry about masonic symbolism, its no big deal. lots of people who were involved in the american and french revolutions were masonic initiates. these revolutions had their merits. not so bad. i mean they had their terrible bloody violence and all that shit, im not for that, but umm too late.

so the founding fathers liked philosophy and high-minded goals, good for them, go for it, write a constitution, put symbols that have deep meaning into the currency, go for it. lots of people who want power want it cuz they think that they have good judgement. initiates are likely to think they have better judgement than others, cuz they attempt selflessness. maybe theyre wrong. so these dudes, they had ideas about identifying this new place called america with ancient esoteric philosophy, and yea, some had some power-bent goals for this nation mixed up in there.

i dont see the harm in admitting where the esoteric symbols on the dollar come from -- the explanations offered in the article dont really conflict with the truth of the symbols' origins. govt people are mad weird.

but yea as for conspiracy, a conspiracy in itself is not too big a deal either. people get these big ideas, think they seem really great, analyze, plan, and then use their resources to put them into action, choosing what to reveal about their motivations. thats a conspiracy. some are terrible from objective standpoints, and are enacted at many innocent peoples' expense. so then, if so many people's conspiracies are such a problem for you, get a bigger idea and conspire toward its fruition. the universe is mind, so if i feel like im at a disadvantage, maybe im missing somthing.
