The Day We Died-In

[The Electric Jesus] • With The New York Times reporting that 121 murders have been committed in America by US soldiers who have returned from Iraq and Afghanistan, I've been thinking back to the gutsiest and most foolish political action I ever did -- a die-in on the ice of Rockefeller Center -- and how it gave me an unexpected mystical understanding of what it actually means to be a country at war. Once again, I invite you to write about your own experiences in the comments section.

Thank you
For sharing that experience. Its refreshing to hear so many shades to an activist experience - the guilt of disrupting the lives of others, the fear of retribution, the sadness the act evoked, the glad-heartedness that came later.
Your description does not make it sound foolish or misguided.
