Wow, only one hundred and ninety nine dollars to have the secrets of the universe revealed at the Sheraton, to experience the "secrets of the skulls unleashed." Good price to watch people masturbate. This "journey of activation" reads like a band tour, with each stop requiring serious money for people to get in. Well, at least the rich will be able to evolve.

I long suspected Flordemayo was a huckster, and how all doubt is erased from my mind. Hunbatz Men has been on a Plastic Shaman list circulated among First Nations groups for quite some time. No real shaman would be spending his/her time hob-nobbing with clueless gringos in the VIP tent of some bogus spiritual gathering instead of helping their people. The living Maya suffer under political oppression and extreme poverty - and when do you hear any of these 2012 fanatics or charlatans say or do anything to bring attention to their plight? They do nothing but exploit the ignorance of people and spread ridiculous stories to separate fools from their money.

The living Maya are spread out over several countries, and have distinct languages, customs and consider themselves autonomous. There is no "council" or spiritual leader (including that Shift of the Ages wonk Don Alejandro) who speaks for any large group of Mayan people. Should you ask a real Mayan about this New Age stuff, they will either be disgusted or bewildered.

The only place crystal skulls exist in Mesoamerica is in Hollywood films, not in the archeological record. There is no "end-time" prophecy from the Maya; that is repackaged Xtian apocalypse crap pimped out by the New Age marketing team. Indiana Jones and Mel Gibson are not credible sources for information on the great Maya culture or cosmology- and neither is Daniel Pinchbeck.

Wrong direction

When times are hard people look for answers. Oftentimes they find those answers in religion and spirituality. It is a natural inclination for us. With the coming changes there will be an increase in disinformation. Even those who seek to do good will be misguided and misguide others. If you are seeking answers, all the answers are within yourself. A change in conscienceness begins with the awareness of your true self. If you have not worked on yourself, do not expect that awareness will come simply from spending some money to learn these "secrets". If you do not know where to start, find a local meditation class. Learn how to listen to your true self.
