CoSM Call For Help

A lawsuit is now pending between CoSM and the Town of Wappinger, home to Alex and Allyson Grey's Chapel of Sacred Mirrors. The attorney for the town has claimed that there is no proof that CoSM property is being used "for moral or mental improvement of men, women and children."

CoSM is being charged with falsely claiming themselves as a non-profit organization that offers services and benefits to the community at whole, and the town wants to strip this from their status.

Alex and Allyson are asking for anyone who has attended a workshop, ceremony, event or volunteer program to please send them your messages expressing the merit and integrity of the community so they can be included in their response to the town attorney. If you have yet to visit CoSM, but would like to, please still take the time to write about what the artwork of CoSM has meant to you, and that you look forward the future opportunity to visit.

The Chapel of Sacred Mirrors is a home to not only the transcendental and sacred art of Alex and Allyson Grey, but a plethora of good intentions and well being directed not only to the CoSM community, but the world at large. The voice of CoSM is one of bridging the gap between the space of the sacred and spiritual, with our material world at large. It is a place where people can go to take an active role in fostering the betterment of humanity, by recognizing and celebrating the power of spirit within us all.

Please take a few moments to share your warmth and insight in defense of this inspiring community so that its positive influence may continue to touch us, and all of its kind.

Using your full name and address, please send these messages to CoSM:

Email:  allyson@cosm.org OR mail to CoSM,
P.O. Box 353, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590.

You can go to the CoSM website to see upcoming events that you may be interesting in attending.

outreach?

I wonder what type of connections they have with the local community, what type of work they've done to reach out and build bridges there. It seems that these types of things happen because of the exclusionary vibes that "visionary" art puts out there. That being said, let's support them anyway we can, as COSM has been holding major space for the conscious evolution of humanity!

more information please

while i am sending an email in support, i also would like to hear a little more information about where this is all coming from, perhaps that would shed some light onto what action could be taken so that this never happens again.

CosM

It is a great shame to read about the impending lawsuit, the town of Wappinger should be celebrating the work of Alex and Alison and looking forward to the completion of CoSM and embracing Alison and Alex into their community. I have not attended a workshop in person as I live here in the UK, but have interviewed both Alex and Allison for Positive TV and was overwhelmed by their compassion for humanity. It struck me how all their work is based on assisting and helping others. Creating a family of creatives to inspire one another and others around the world. I hope that the people of Wappinger wake up to the opportunity and recognise what a great asset Cosm is to their community.
