Construct Your Future

Superstruct, an interactive, collaborative "forecasting game," wants your input on what life will be like in eleven years. Upon registration, participants create identities to interact within the online multiplayer game, view "breaking news reports" from the future, and explore the five threats the future world faces. Armed with information, players can band together and begin solving the problems before them.
"Superstructing," according to the FAQ, "is what humans do. We build new structures on old structures. [...] Superstructing has allowed us to survive in the past and it will help us survive the super-threats."
The brainchild of nonprofit think tank Institute For The Future in Palo Alto, California, Superstruct is intended to merge gaming, brainstorming, and tapping the collective knowledge of players. The experiment will end on November 17. Results will then be analyzed and reported to share the best tactics players utilized in handling future threats.
The game is on now, and registration is available at the How To Play page.
