After a farewell speech to fans, supporters, and the press last week, the 51-year old Canadian cannabis activist Marc Emery turned himself over to authorities at the B.C. Supreme Courthouse. Subject of a widely-publicized campaign against current marijuana legislation, Emery continued to hold his head high as the stoic ‘Prince of Pot’, even just before being taken into custody for potential extradition to the US.
