Comets and Crops

Past comets seem to have been predicted or referred to in crop circles over the years, most notably 1994's formations that seemed to reference Shoemaker-Levy. A new Crop Circle Connector article draws correlations between the current explosion of Comet 17P Holmes and a whole series of crop circles during the 2005 season.
Author Red Collie compares "crop stars" with star charts surrounding Holmes, considers evidence that formations predicted Holmes' conjunction, and presents a plausible theory as to why this particular interpretation was never applied to the formations until now. A history of the associations between crops and comets is also included.

Blue Star Kachina?
Does anyone know if the Hopi have made this connection?
"Will the transformation."-Rilke
good question
I haven't found anything speaking to that yet, but I'm keeping my eyes open...
Blue Star Kachina Was Already Sighted...Four Years Ago
hmm
That's an interesting read! All the quotes from the Hopi used on that page seem to remain prophetic, though, i.e. addressing something that will happen, not something that has occurred. It looks like the conclusion that the comet in question was Blue Star Kachina was reached by the author of the webpage, not by the Hopi themselves. Just my read -- I may have missed something.
