Brooklyn Mandalas

From May 10th to 13th, Urban River Arts is hosting Lama Tenzin Yignyen as he creates the Sand Mandala of Compassion in the heart of Brooklyn. The mandalas are made over a period of four days, and on the fifth day, the painting is given to a body of water as an offering.

This sacred process will be viewable from 9AM to 12PM & 1PM to 4PM from Monday, May 9th to Thursday, May 13th. Join Lama Tenzin at Brooklyn LaunchPad, 721 Franklin Ave (btwn Sterling Place and Park Place), Crown Heights. 4/5 or 2/3 trains to Franklin Ave.
