From May 10th to 13th, Urban River Arts is hosting Lama Tenzin Yignyen as he creates the Sand Mandala of Compassion in the heart of Brooklyn. The mandalas are made over a period of four days, and on the fifth day, the painting is given to a body of water as an offering.
