Thoughts on the Haitian Earthquake

haitithumb.jpgAs I sift through the rubble and shattered lives through the imagesvideos, and news on the internet, my heart feels extremely heavy. Why are the the places that are the most in need continually targeted by natural disasters? (more)

Our Transformational Times

Given the current nature of global affairs, we have become consumed with placing our wagers on what's next as the "global economic crisis" event unfolds across the headlines. We have been feeling tremoring waves of this expectable event for some time now, and it should come to no surprise to John McCain and any other ostrich-heads-stuck-in-sand folks that the fundamental basis of our economy is dubious & unsustainable, and that there really is a transformational process unfolding on planet Earth currently. Is it surprising to anyone that as we walk daily towards 2012, and we walk daily towards a future of incredible technological innovation and the mandatory necessity of an eco-sustainability-centered future, that we will be confronted with every dirty aspect of the collective unconsciousness.  (more)

Reality is Psychic

there is a huge fear pandemic sweeping across our nation, and the fear that is being drilled into the minds of the masses, whether it be towards War or towards Economic Crisis, is what creates the situations. The more people believe that we are on the verge of economic ruin, the more the reality will hit our lives. We cannot live in a reality and tell reality that we do not trust it, that we do not trust that we will not survive, that we do not trust each other and the system, and not expect reality to give us exactly what we believe to be true. We cannot live in economic prosperity and healthy ecosystems of sustainability, moving truly into the 21st century level of sustainable technological creative geniusness, until we believe THAT is our future, not a future of endless war, tyranny and economic ruin.  (more)

Mistake-Ability

We make mistakes. We are human beings; imperfect, unconscious some of the time, selfish and not thinking wisely always. Other human beings tend to look at us and make judgments about our lack of integrity. This I have come to accept is one of the primary rules or by-laws about living as a human being; that you must come to accept that other people will judge you.  (more)

Emotional Hurricanes

When we've reached a state of torment so seemingly inextricable, so overwhelming, we decide it's time to focus on healing. It's a common situation I see in so many people; myself, dear friends and clients that I've worked with. We don't come to a state of focused healing until it's reached the boiling point of unacceptability; the state of misery focuses our intention and attention to the other possibilities for a reality that are other than our present experience. Ultimately, our soul will always strive for happiness, above all other things.  (more)

The Medicine Moment

How can we as a humanity come together and create a harmonious society if we are so fragmented by our belief systems and by our judgments of each other? We could never create a common vision when we are so splintered by the way we are attached to our belief systems about material objects such as fur or cars or houses or real estate or fetuses. And we could never create a peaceful world when we judge each other and attack each other based on the assumption that my perspective is the correct perspective and everyone else's perspective is flawed. Everyone thinks they're on top of the ball game and that their perspective of reality is the standard truth, because their reality reflects that back to them. Watch a buddhist tell a millionaire real estate agent to drop his attachment to material possessions and the millionaire will think the buddhist is crazy.  (more)

Transforming Repression of The Divine Feminine

Imagine what the world would look like if there were millions of women who were anchors of ecstatic bliss energy. Imagine millions of women eschewing convention and walking their path towards their authentic nature, letting go the norms of social conformity in favor of following their heart bliss. Imagine if the world was filled with juicy mamas who love to be loved, and love to get loved on. We would live in a world where the top priority is to take care of each other, because taking care of each other is taking care of the whole. (more)
