The Irish philosopher, poet and shaman John Moriarty used Irish myths to illustrate his belief that there has been a schism between what we as humans instinctively are and what we have become and how we choose to live. He became a character living in a parallel Ireland called Fódhla, lamenting the wrong turn that the Western world has taken.
