On Creativity, Marijuana and "a Butterfly Effect in Thought"

Many creative tasks require an expansive associative net, a "flat associative hierarchy." Creative people need to make far-reaching connections among all sorts of seemingly unrelated ideas. The heightened ability to make novel associations is the hallmark of creative thinkers, who are always searching for epiphanies. This is why Marijuana is perhaps one of the best cognitive tools for creativity.
