Birth of An Ocean

The Earth is slowly ripping apart Africa.  In Ethiopia, scientists believe they are witnessing the birth of a new ocean.  The East African Rift is home to the Erda Ale volcano and other geological activity that scientists believe will evetually split apart the continent of Africa, creating a new ocean, fed by water from the Red Sea.
