Drinking Beer to Stay Warm?

Now people in England have one more reason to go to the pub and grab a pint--it can help heat their home.
Waste from a Suffolk brewery, local supermarkets, pubs and hotels, is being sent to an Anaerobic Digestion plant to be turned into biogas. The plant began sending gas to the grid earlier this month. Starting off small, the plant can currently provide enough gas for 235 homes, but the facility's production capacity is expected to double in a year's time. The future is bright for biogas, which is "the single most important renewable energy resource."
