"Bloody Sunday" Remixed

James Mathers' new music video is a stunning collaboration with Saul Williams based on the U2 gem, "Sunday Bloody Sunday."
Saul's third full-length album, The Inevitable Rise and Liberation of Niggy Tardust, produced by Trent Reznor, broke ground as a successful Internet album, and continues the evolution of Saul Williams' post-punk, post-hip-hop "Grippo" sound.

Saul Williams
You just gotta love Saul Williams. His first album Amethyst Rockstar is still my favorite, but the man is a true poet and every time he opens his mouth some pearls of wisdom drop out.
Even here, where he is just doing a straight ahead remake of a U2 classic, he manages to infuse it with such soul.
I recommend watching his film Slam. And check out his books of poetry if you get a chance... The Dead Emcee Scrolls are great.
Radiohead got a lot of press for their internet "pay what you will" release, but Saul's latest album was released the same way... only in higher quality formats and lossless. Also, you could download it without giving your personal information the way Radiohead's interface forced you to.
