Ayahuasca's "Indiana Jones"

gorman_peter2_med.jpg

This year, the 3rd Annual Conference on Shamanism brought hundreds of shamans together in Iquitos, Peru. Peter Gorman, former High Times editor-in-chief and recipient of the title "The Real Life Indiana Jones" from Penthouse Magazine, was preparing to deliver a presentation called "25 Years of Shamanism" at the conference. The talk was to cover his lifetime of experience working with ayahuasca in the Amazon. But before Gorman could deliver his address to the conference, he fell ill and had to have an emergency, life-saving surgery.

Now, in a five part series on Nonprophet, Gorman shares his story.

I'm particularly intrigued

I'm particularly intrigued because Gorman worked with Julio----the teacher of the two Maestros I've been working with in Iquitos for the past three years now! Adam Elenbaas

adventurous

..and darn humble and generous, gracious and fun!
