Amazonian Shamanism Conference

The 3rd International Amazonian Shamanism Conference will take place July 7-14th, 2007 in Iquitos, Peru, bringing together an astounding set of shamans, curanderos, and plant-people from around the world.

Norma Panduro Navarro, Guillermo Arévalo, Pablo Amaringo, Juan Flores Salazar, Gayle Highpine, Peter Gorman, Jimmy Weiskopf, Alan Shoemaker and Dennis McKenna are among the long list of shamans, artists, activists, scientists, journalists and curanderos that will speak on specific topics and as part of panel discussions exploring Shamanism and Amazonian healing techniques as well as alternative types of natural medicines.

The first conference was described as an “atomic bomb of good.” This year it has grown considerably in size and breadth and is surely set to be a wonderful, profound and amazing event.

The International Amazonian Shamanism Conference is open to those people sincerely and seriously interested in the knowledge from the Amazon rainforest.
