Medicine Hunter in NYC

chris_kilham_yogi1.jpg

Celebrate the 20-year anniversary (and updated release) of Chris Kilham’s best-selling yoga classic “The Five Tibetans: Five Dynamic Exercises for Health, Energy and Personal Power,” published by Inner Traditions.  For this special engagement, Kilham will reveal the deep insights and wisdom he’s culled by combining 41 years of daily yoga practice, 18 years of working with shamans in South America, and his regular daily practice of The Five Tibetans. For Kilham, the lines between yoga and shamanism are blurry at best. In this lively romp through spiritual dimensions, Chris will show how yogic, shamanic, and other mystical techniques help us overcome boundaries of the body, mind, and spirit, and open us up to true healing and ecstatic awareness.

Chris Kilham is a professional medicine hunter, author of 14 books, educator, long time yogi and world-traveler devoted to researching and promoting plant-based medicines. He is the founder of Medicine Hunter, Inc. and is a Fox News integrative alternative medicine TV personality and columnist.  Kilham partners with companies to research, identify, and promote medicinal plants. He leads field expeditions throughout the world to locate plants and to set up sustainable harvesting and cultivation methods and trade between indigenous peoples and partner companies. The New York Times has referred to Kilham as “part David Attenborough, part Indiana Jones.”

About the Five Tibetans: Originating in the Himalayas, the five yogic exercises known as the Five Tibetans take only a minimum of daily time and effort but dramatically increase physical strength, energy, and suppleness as well as mental acuity.

“A time-honored classic that belongs in every yoga library. A true yogi, Chris’ voice is strong, sensitive, and clear, his calling deep and genuine.” – Deepak Chopra

“In The Five Tibetans, Chris Kilham offers a simple yet profound practice that promotes health and longevity, is centering, and leads to peace of mind. Chris is a jewel among men!” – Nicki Doane, Yogi

With some extra care and

With some extra care and motivation, I was able to many many changes in my life that guaranteed me a well established daily balance. With a little piece of advice from Dr Salemy, I was able to regain my perfect health. You see, it is important to take into account whose medical advice you`re buying, because a doctor with an open mind and a wide culture may be able to have a broader perspective upon health issues.
