Brain Workout

Bridget Algiere

Researchers at PositScience have recently developed brain fitness programs to help you "think faster, focus beter, and remember more."  Participants play fitness games for about an hour per day on a computer, training their brains to react to certain stimuli faster, thereby speeding up the process of when nerve cells talk to each other. One subject explained the experience as if it were like opening a new door in her brain filled with the things she had forgotten.

Too bad it's not free.

I think it would be cool to have a social network dedicated to brain fitness. No bands, no drama, no pokes, just exercise your brain with collaborative activities. Although, I can see how someone might become competitive.

The Adult Ed. Program sounds promising. I loved that someone's review was, "I like to drive fast. I’ve noticed my alertness with driving fast has improved!"
